@crafter2u Look to run at no more than 10 amps, with good products; a good map enhancer, o2 sensors, and bubler, so your car must save around 25 to 30 % REMEMBER That is the real target for a basic dry cell system, dont look for more, dont waste time, that is the real number for a system like this one... otherwise you are spending more tha you need
you're wanting to run 50 to 60 amps? is this in ur car? seems like you will overload your alternator with that kind of amperage draw, where/how will you wire it? won't it run pretty hot that way?
thats a pretty neat installation so far i ever seen good job man...how is everything cost including all of the material, and how much MPG does it increase to your truck?

Dude I have a similar setup in my 04 Avalanche just wondering what your results are. I put my cell inside motor by A/C accumulator and the bubbler is right beside it. I have my gas pipped into air filter box before MAF dont know if that the best somebody said after MAF so I might move it to try it. Im running mine @ 58 Amps with a 145Amp Alt. It makes about 2.5-3 LPM . When I run it I dont get any service lights which is good. I hook up my laptop to truck with a mpg monito.Let me know thanks
@partwerks I just made a dry cell. I used brass 1/4 inch fittings; they have pipe thread which is hard to find ona a tap set so i used course SAE thread tap then forced the fittings in. they sorta cut there own threads but it works good and seals well
You'd better hook up a second bubbler to that setup if you only have that one half full because if you have a flashback and your hho input to the bubbler is above the waterline, it will go kablooey. Good luck with it. It seems like a very nice setup.
I'm planning on upgrading to a dry cell also since my first cell barely got off the ground as far as production.
What I'm wondering since I have the PWM/EFIE wired up if it is wise to have the gas plumbed in the end of my K & N air filter or move it down a bit after the MAF. Is there any reason why it could not be plumbed in after the MAF?
Nice job, I would fill the res bubbler fuller keep the input from the cell under water. It doesn't matter if the cell is full, it's safer full and the bubbler full as possible too! I hope you use a flashback bronz wool from the bubbler to the FI intake. I use a sm/joe cell in my car. If you need a map/maf o2 enhancer ck mine out. Nice jobe anyway.
Hi I was working with you on the smack cell on your previous videos but so far I dont have very good results I dont know if you did get good gas milage
Once I got the cell running, it worked pretty good. Didnt seem like the height made a difference. I also drained the bubbler so that is was only half full.

on you last video you were warning about cells on ebay not up to their claims. Is the cell you purchased true to their claims. WETCELLlabs

What did you use for gasket material between the cell plates?
partwerks 3 years ago
Its a 1/16th inch rubber gasket. I'm not sure of the exact material. I purchased from WetCell Labs on Ebay.

Did you thread the plexiglass for the two fittings or does threading plexiglass work very good?
partwerks 3 years ago
If your referring to the in/out ports on the end pieces to the cell, they were already threaded when I recieved them.

I would put in after the MAF. Thats where I've seen most installations. Most try to get it as close to the actual manifold intake port.

Nice work! I'll be looking forward to seeing the data on production and milage. Good Luck!

Yeah, I only ever got about .7 LPM from the smack cell. The new cell I have now, I have seen it produce upto 5 LPM.

It Looks like your Bubbler is to high compared to your Dry cell.
It looks like your cell will not have enough room for gas production and that your cell will be overfilled because of high difference.
Just my thought.
