@yungmoolah12 Taper or tapering is the act of fading or cutting to fit. We use taper to mean litely faded around the edges. A taper can be a lite as the customer wants it.

I think it's excellent compared to how it looked. Especially when nobody notice that we sprayed it until we told them, so it's not in your words "painfully obvious".

to get a cleaner tape is it best to use a razor? I normally use two barbers who give me awesome temp fades but one use razor the other use clippers...normally i go to the other barber who uses clippers when the one with razor is on vacay. Which style is the best option in having a better looking fade?

@m5j10 Your hair is going to grow back you can'y stop that. Your barber may be also taking your line back to far if you see a lot of hair. If that's the case, tell him to cut it out. If not, get a new barber.

You can tell your barber to take line your line back behind your ears if you want, but my client's line is symmetrical and it follows his natural hairline.

I know because a pro knows that you don't take the client's line back to make it perfectly straight. You use the contour of the natural hairline as much as possible so the client doesn't have all of this ugly hair growing back in 3-4 days.
