what I hate about the English version of the anime is the horrible dubbing...especially by Cloverway...the english dubbing from DiC for the first 2 seasons was much more tolerable for me.

@JEnokokame i dont think i seen the cloverway one? but the cut outs really dont bother me and two the vocie acting in the show for the MOST part is well done. but it is a lil annoying when the dubs get shity wrong, lol. is gueen serenity serena in the future or is serenity serenas mom? or does it change due to different time periods of the seasons??? i known sm forever but just started following pass and through sailor moon s, lol.

To each their own I guess...for me personally, I just can't stand the Cloverway dubbing for season 3 upwards...I think it's horrible, the voices exaggerate so much, it's very unnecessary.

The dubbing from DiC for the first 2 seasons was much more tolerable for me, because the voices and the way they speak is much more natural.

I can never listen to the Cloverway dubbing without feeling like punching something...but I can tolerate listening to DiC's dubbing.

yeah, Cloverway is the international branch of Toei...I'm a bit disappointed by that, you would think that being a subsidiary of such a prestigious Japanese company like Toei, that did a great job with the original Japanese dub. The english dubbing should've been at least decent. But sadly, for me, the english dub was horrible & annoying, mainly because the voices were exaggerated so much...I think they especially killed Usagi (Serena)'s voice in the english dub.

Not all the chapters. In the Cloverwei dub the Super henshins and attacks, and just about the rest of the music in the series was kept the same.

hehe, i like the the filipino's dubbed version... try to listen their voices though u cant understand, but the voices sounds good and fit for the characters... compare to the original japs voices, it sounded like it all came only from one woman, and the english version... though it has perfect articulations but it didnt gave spirit to the animie, it sounded like the looney toons perhaps...

I love the japanese version, The english they edited way too much. the only thing they did actually pretty well were the songs but the voice in season one when they had switch the voice actors were aweful Sailor moon had a SQUEAKY VOICE> *cringes*

The Cloverway dub actors were probably the worst. Some of the original actors were retained, like Lita's/Sailor Jupiter's and Luna's. But, then again, Luna's... is probably the worst dub voice.
