  • Maybe I'm playing old games too much, but isn't that use the same game engine that stuntman seymour uses? I can see there both very simular.

  • @CoolDudeClem The artist who did the graphics for this game, Jonathan Smyth also worked on Stuntman Seymour which is why they look similar in style, he also worked on DJ Puff's Volcanic Capers and Nobby the Aardvark.

Jonathan Smyth is probably my favourite artist for the C64, he's one of the only people out there who could really make every pixel count to create sprites with a lot of charm, the pixels on C64 were huge so its not easy to make a detailed sprite.

  • how come he has infinite peanuts. I can understand several peanuts cause you fit them in your trunk, but not infinite. Where the fudge are those nuts coming from..

This game is great! I used to play it when i had a c64.

  • Oh my God! I grow up with this game. Love it (and that music - pampamparapaaa)

  • Holy Shit what a blast from the past. This game still looks quality

  • Too bad it's not even showing up the fourth stage (which was the last one)! But thank you for reliving a good memory!

  • Oh my GOD!! This game was fuckin class!! Cant believe its on youtube!

  • This game was outstanding!!

  • Gah, I were always rubbish on the bonus levels! Our version of CJ were on some Powerpack tape with three other games, were fantastic!

  • Only cos' I was carrying you the whole way :P

  • I remember playing my brother's c64, but i don't remember this particular game, though my brother reckons it was a classic.

I am currently producing my first book, and the guy illustrating my book actually worked on the artwork of this game. He is a fantastic artist.

  • haha remember when we tried to do this rich haha we got our arses handed to us lol

  • I prefer the music on the C64 version to the NES and there's also more presentation on the Commodore version, there's a corny little scene showing CJ's escaping from the plane at the beginning, The Speccy version is very good too, though is lacking in the colour department, think i'll do a comparison on my website soon :)

  • This certainly beats the NES version, which chose to remove the invincibility powerups and bonus levels, wreck up collision detection, and give bosses more health.

  • One of the best game soundtracks.

  • One of my favourite games ever and first lol. Thank you can you post more videos
