Why didn't you tell us the dyno results?WTF.Sounds like it has tall gearing.That'll give lower dyno results. I know that if you install a Gear Vendors under/overdrive you will get better results.And,quicker et's/better fuel mileage.Anyway,have fun.
@Steve340 90% of astro's & safari's came with a vort. v6 the other's came with a 305 v8 , unless special orderd with the 350 or had put in after market . 60% of factory 305's & 350's that was in the astro's & safari's were 260 bhp to 325 bhp . They had a throttle body or a direct port fuel injection system not carbed . The factory vortec V6 had from 190 bhp to 225 bhp & the same 2 type's of fuel system's .

What were the numbers on it? I have the same engine in a 68 nova, and I have some questions if you dont mind.
Was the carbed version 355 horse? and the injected 345? or the other way around? Awesome Vid Man 5 Stars
