Claiming there is more evidence for Jesus than Caesar as a disgrace to history. We have documents that Caesar wrote, we have contemporary accounts from completely independent sources of him. Most importantly, we have accounts from people who didn't necessariy agree with Caesar or like him (i.e people who would have no reason to lie). There are no contemporary accounts of Jesus from anyone who wasn't already a follower! Madness.
Why does a Caesar come up when discussing Jesus? None of them are viewed as gods or sons of gods and founders of a world religion. None performed miracles and all have physical evidence. A Jesus does not.
Nothing on miracles or geological or astronomical anomalies. Nothing at all about babies slain or zombies in Jerusalem. Nothing in Roman records. Nothing on a person pestering Roman authorities and being killed for this outside of Christian sources.
More evidence than Julius Caesar? We're not basing an entire way of life on Julius Caesar.
Shoot, no one even knows who authors of the gospels were.
Evidence for Jesus is sketchy. Certainly not enough to brainwash people in believing Jesus was some kind of eternal god.

@chebob2009 - There were eyewitness accounts of Jesus. The Jewish historian, Josephus, mentions Jesus and he was a Jew, not a Christian.

@johnankerberg
Josephus' work was dated to 96AD. 60 years after Jesus supposedly died. That is NOT contemporary.

@chebob2009 - Where did you get that date? He dated back to 37 AD. - J A Show Staff

@johnankerberg
Yeah, that was his birth date. Not when he wrote about him. He was born after Jesus had died!
