  • There are exactly ZERO links between vaccinations and autism...but if you learned information from more places than online, you would know that. Seriously, take that part out of your info section, as you're just spreading ignorant urban legends. The researcher who came up with that hypothesis is now being prosecuted because he skewed his research (he only used seven subjects in his experiment) and he lied in his results. Stop propagating lies.

  • @chatte99 Thanks for reminding me that the autism stuff was in there. I took it out. I've heard the updated research about it and I agree with you. Of course, you had to go out of your way to act like a jerk about it ("Stop propagating lies."), but whatever, I guess you could have acted much more. So many YouTubers don't have even a shred of common decency. It's like they've been locked away their entire lives and never learned how to get along with people. Anyway, thanks for your comment.

  • There is no such thing as a "teacup." "Teacups" are just a "designer dog" term for runt. BTW, there is no real link between autism and vaccinations (as alluded to in your info section). The researcher who made that claim admitted to unethical research practicies and is being prosecuted for his crime :)

Glad to hear the chi felt better :-D

  • @lordnhoj Thank you for your comment. I clarified that "teacups" are runts in the description. It was something I had added to my other video a long time ago but apparently forgot to add to this one. And I removed the part about autism since I also heard the updated news about it several months ago, but I forgot that I had mentioned that on this video, so thanks for letting me know. :)

  • NEVER BUY A TEACUP CHIHUAHUA! The breeders don't feed them enouth and when they are sold they get sugarwater so they have more spunk so the buyer wont know the puppy is sick. Also its not healthy for a dog to be that tiny. the brains are to bigfor the head so they have headaches all the time. they have waterheads, not fully develloped organs, die before the age of 4 years becouse of health issues. Teacups don't exist. only for puppy mill breeders. normal breeders wont sell a tiny pup like that.

  • WOW, no she was so sick because you bought BYB bred crap. She was bred for clearly money ONLY and not health or genetics.

  • @boddahveryape Oh, I think I understand what you're saying. You mean Little Nibbles was bred kinda the same way human kids are bred, which is mainly for stupid, selfish reasons like "Who will take care of me in my old age?" or "I need a personal slave that I can boss around and beat when I'm mad." Is that what you meant?

It turned out that Nibbles wasn't a teacup at all. She is the most obese adult chihuahua I've ever seen. It's ridiculous honestly. (She was raised by another family.)

  • AHWWW :(

  • HAHA HE SNEEZES SO CUTE I SNEEZE LOUD I FAIL LOL

  • @rockgirlxxx1 Yes, you're an EPIC FAILURE, rockgirlxxx1. Loud sneezes startle me, so please stop sneezing loudly. lol JK

  • My chihuahua got fleas when she was a pup and dawn dish soap will strip the fleas and ticks off without hurting the pup. Or try using rose scented bath crystals to soak it in. Safe for them and totally affective. Mine is 1.5 yrs now and I still use it along with frontline now that she's 5lbs.

Vets usually don't account for little weight, they go off of treatment of a 20 lb dog, not ones so little.

  • My chihuahua is 5lbs full grown, last year at a whole 2.3 lbs she got fleas.... Dawn dish soap will strip the fleas and you can bath your pup once a week with it. Or try using Rose scented bath crystals. Both work and are totally safe. My dog is EXTREMLY chemically sensitive. She still has to have a Benedryl and steroid shot just to get her yearly vaccinations.

Worms, just .25 to half a cigarette will get rid of most. Doggie will poop like crazy though for a day or two. Sounds wierd, but safe.

  • what acute baby if my chihuahua puppy would get sick i would die D; i love him too much.

why did you find her a new home why couldnt she stay with you?

  • @0unconscious0 Because I'm a cold-hearted biaytch and I got tired of the hassle of having a dog so I sold her to my sister-in-law's brother and his family. They had two other chihuahuas already, so she loved her new home, but she got sooooo fat and huge living with them. It's amazing how fat she got. I'm pretty sure she could win an award for being SO TINY and growing up to be SO FAT!

  • @7heather

    o_0

I do not know what you are arguing about but I am 15 and I have a tea cup Chihuahua. Yes I know there's no such thing as a teacup chihuahua but we are giving him to someone. It's my Aunt Judith and she is a vet (used to be). Don't think I am being mean 'cause my mum and dad are rlly good at breeding chihuahua. We didn't want to sell the runt and say he was a teacup to fool peaple into buying one so do u think i'm bad for doing that? Is it right to give it too her?

  • @ClupenguinFanclub You should sell her. Whoever adopts her will love her more and take care of her better if they had to pay for her. It's like when your parents GIVE you a car, you don't care much about keeping it clean and nice, but if you have to PAY for the car yourself then you take better care of it because of the money you spent on it. Humans put more value on things they pay good money for. Don't feel guilty. It's not like you're taking the pup to the pound to die.

  • @7heather load of f*cking bollocks.... I wanted a dog FREE to a good home because I have many animals and love them all, yet I got them all FREE (well, the cats anyway). You might be some selfish person who couldnt be arsed (this is according to your comment) to look after a dog so sold it to family, or cant be arsed to look after something thats given to you..but that doesnt mean other people will mistreat and animal or not love it just because its free..God help your age. You sound 14yrs old

  • @Demonickitten666 So terribly sorry to have offended you. I've seen people with "many animals" on a show called Animal Hoarders and every one of those people truly believe they are doing what's best for their pets, but they're in complete denial about the fact that they are mistreating and neglecting their pets. Most of them are sick, and the houses are disgusting. Now I'm sure that YOU aren't like that, but the truth is you wouldn't be able to admit it if you were. None of the hoarders can.

  • @7heather Funny that your youtube name is 7HEATHER because my neighbour of that name called the RSPCA thinking that I have 2 many pets and dont look after them even though she's never seen them.

Funny. The RSPCA found nothing wrong. The cages are spotless, trays cleaned. Fed, watered etc regulary... perfectly happy pets. Some people dont know how to look after pets. It has NOTHING to do with the amount of pets making u a bad owner, only the time and money you have available for them.

  • @Demonickitten666 That's cool "DemonicKitten" (lol). I hope everything works out well for you and your pets. It's really concerning when someone has a lot of animals. A big reason that it's a problem is that spaying and neutering is expensive so most animal hoarders can't afford to do it for all of their pets. The pets end up breeding out of control and that's a big reason why so many animals have to be killed every day at the pound. It's the EXCESS of animals that create a problem.

  • @Demonickitten666 And btw, I'm not the same Heather as your neighbor. I wouldn't live next to an animal hoarder (or "rescuer" or whatever.) Too many animals in one place is dirty, smelly, and loud. Not at YOUR HOUSE, I'm sure, but just everyone else's home where there are more pets than normal (to the point where someone calls the RSPCA on them). Even just 3 or 4 pets in a home is something I can't tolerate. If I WAS your neighbor though I'd report you. Animal hoarders should live on a farm.

  • Dogs do not get pinworms. Pyrantel Pamoate is used to treat roundworms and hookworms in dogs. Pryantel Pamoate is used to treat pinworms in humans. The dog should also recieve a second dose of pryantel pamoate 1-3 weeks after first treatment. The albon is an antibiotic used to eliminate coccidia (intestinal parasite.) The advantage is safe for dogs and the greasy spot will be eventually absorbed. Pesticides used in the yard are much different than the advantage.

dont let the dog eat grass!

  • awwww!!!!

  • @heatherwhisker I see Little Nibbles at family gatherings sometimes. She has become quite large and fat. I think her owners have her on a diet, but she is still pretty obsese for such a small dog. She is obviously NOT a teacup anymore (not that teacups even exist, but you get my meaning.)

  • DONT EVER GET VACCINES!!

  • @odin422 By law in many areas, dogs must have certain vaccines. If one is against vaccines, don't have pets.

  • @shannonm75 I deleted that asshole's (odin422) comments and blocked him from posting again. You win the argument.

  • Flea treaments shouldn't be given to puppies or elderly dogs, they don't have enough of a fat layer in the skin and the poison is absorbed through the skin thus poisioning the animal. I would pick the fleas off a pup daily until old enough to treat. Sounds like kennel cough to me also. I am sorry it didn't work out for you and the puppy but Chi's are a handful until about 9 months old, I adore Chi's but have had dogs my whole life. Last one for 16 years before she passed away.

  • Ah, that's too bad.

  • Wow, I just watched and listened to the video and I am NOT a vet. My friends feel I missed my calling, but in any event, I feel that the puppy suffered from what is called kennel cough and a small dose of antibotic usually cures most of it. Most vets choose to subside customary vaccines during "sick events" (in small breeds) especially puppy milled puppies - kennel cough is a virus, but only cured through antibiotics. I am sorry to hear she is no longer with you. Puppy to young for flea trmt.

  • May I ask what kind if reputable breeder would sel you a sick puppy? No one I know would! Only puppy mills who sell to pet stores or backyard breeders or others would do this. If it was a well known breeder, you need to contact her or him! Why did you not keep the dog? I do not understand - a pet if like a child, for life?

  • As for the breeders, I'd guess they probably weren't reputable, though I didn't know that at the time. I bought the puppy at a weekend conference hall event that was filled with puppies, birds, and other pets for sale. It seemed legit at the time, but I can see now that it was likely a cover for a puppy mill. Renting a conference room ensures that buyers don't see the conditions that the dogs live in. I wasn't aware of the issue of puppy mills back then like I am now.

  • It is not true re autism and vaccinations- read the peer reviewed medical journals. PLEASE! I do not want people to have the wrong impression. They have saved more lives than many of the meds ever developed!

  • @SiobhanCohen Thanks for your comment. I removed the remark about autism.

  • when i first got my chihuahua when she was little, she also had parasites. it was so funny how she used to gag, lol, but she dont have anymore. omg ur chihuahua is so cute, n when it coffed, it was so adorable.

  • As with doctors, not all vets are ideal. Vets should be willing to give you the package the medicine came in so you can have the instructions. It's always a good idea to shake any medicine, too. It can't hurt.

Also, flea treatments from reputable (NOT FROM WALMART) are safe WHEN USED CORRECTLY. It basically has to be a pesticide to kill fleas: it's only a problem when the dog is too young (just like how babies can't take certain medicines).

  • @SheWolfDanielle Speaking of flea treatments from Walmart... I heard that Frontline's patent expired and now they are selling the same active ingredient under the name Pet Armor Plus at where else but WALMART! It's only like $10, compared to the $50 treatments under the Frontline brand name. I'm glad that racket finally ended. Drug companies are so greedy and selfish.

  • This is just about the cutest and most adorable dog I have ever seen in my whole life. I do hope she is okay.

  • aww im glad shes better now!! i want to get a chihuahua aswell:)

  • So glad she recovered -- but why did you decide not to keep her?

  • i no a lot about puppy's and mabe she is getting too much of med and she might have a hair ball too! so look out for her and give her a room to sleep in and to eat in also she cant be bothered

to much tho! cute dog tho! hope she turns out ok!

  • hey question: in order to feed my chihuahua her worm medicine, she took it but now, she is not breathing properly. I totally messed this one up czu she wasn't cooperating. It's been one hour and a half. She sounded like snorting cuz she was not getting enough air but now seems to be better. Should I take her to the vet?

  • it sounds like kennel cough which our pup had when we got it from the kennel. We gave it 2 courses of antibiotics and the dog is fine now 1 year later.

I would be leary of overtreating an immunocompromised animal. At this point it's really up to nature and the dogs genetics. Don't feed it canned dog food. My mother's treatment for sick pets was fresh cooked chicken, baby beef liver and don't give tap water, give it bottled water. All you can do is love it and try.

  • Thanks for your help. She is much better now. The cough or retch is mostly gone and has been replaced with some sneezing/coughing behavior. It sounds much better than before.

  • I'm glad ;). The bug that causes kennel cough is probably in most vet's offices. In any event, I'm sure it's worsened by compromising the immune system or an environment of stress like the pound, where it is endemic. Love, good home, and wholesome food are the best medicine of all. take care! Your pup is a real treasure.
