  • Utterly pointless. One of the nice things about the original is the way it feels when you turn it around.

  • The original one should now come with a label ''no batteries needed''.

  • Whats it do?

  • the best thing about this cube is that you don't have to replace stickers:-D

  • and point of this useless thing IS??? I'll stick with normal classic one

  • haha, I was dreaming about a touch screen rubiks cube like 5 years ago... made by apple!

  • dumb! most of the fun of solving a rubix cube is physically moving the sides!

  • its a junk for me, competition you cant use this

  • This is just a glowing box of colors

  • seamz pretty jackd up

  • Wow. Why is there so much negative feedback for this? It's not supposed to be the original, it's taken the idea and changed it into something unique.

  • look's dumb.

  • i got mine for $20 its so difficult to use I've only solved it mabye 10 times.

  • I bet apple computers has something to do w/ this!

  • oh and 5th. it might break

  • 1st. its confusing. 2nd. uses electricity or battery, waste of electricity. 3rd. its a ripoff. 4th. why r u still reading this?

  • I prefer the mechanic one...

  • Original= BEST

    TouchCube=cheap/ ripoff/ messed-up/ confusing

  • @StealthAssassin52 well rip off and all that but cheap hardly lol

  • The Rubik's Cube of the decade! Do they have the 2x2x2 TouchCube?

  • its sucks

  • c000000000000000l

  • shit

  • gay!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the original is much better, this is a crap shit

  • yea i think the original one is better. i didn't what the guy was doing i thought the little squres were changes colors and the guy was moving the thinks idk its confusing

  • lol , boooooring the original is way bather

  • Mostly this is a collectors thing.

I just got one of these yesterday, it may not be for speed cubing, it's still awesome.

  • i still perfer a "normal" cube

  • So do I but in my case a 2x2x2!

  • cool

  • the original one is much better. In this one you must change batteries or stay charging it.

  • amazing :)

  • i want one 0.o where can i get it, i also want an Ecube XD which is simmiler but it has buttons instead

  • Illuminating!

  • Everyone is a critic... Cool puzzle.

  • this is a crime against puzzles

  • All I can say is 149.00 is a stupid and way to high for something like

  • its hard to beleive this is real, but theres video proof, so, yeah.

  • This was designed for lazy post 80's children that don't want to catch a cramp in their tiny little delicate hands! The original is by far still the best design!

  • Grow up.

  • I did grow up, that's why I prefer the original design.

  • If you had grown up, you would have the common sense to know that "catching a cramp in their delicate little hands" is a stupid idea. And how is a touch screen lazy? Two supid fucking ideas.

This new one was made because touch screens are the new '"in" thing. You haven't played with this one, so you can't have an opinion.

  • damn you again! what are you a rubikscubeologist or something. Okay i'll solve the whole thing...you're right-i'm wrong-i'm weak-you're strong! okay enough iz enough. I'm done with this post

  • You are damn right I'm right. At least you aren't a complete dumbass.

  • lol! I feel so compelled to keep responding but I won't! this is absolutely the last post! take care

  • I believe this argument has been logically concluded, but doubtless you will respond to us anyway out of his compulsive desire to have the last word... Ever heard of Occupatio?

  • Hang on, I always found it hard to cranck those cubes a round so this one is a breeze, the concept is the same but easier?

  • This puzzle is crap, the original is way better, but your argument is flawed. What do kids do today? Play video games. How many buttons did your 80's Atari had? One, maybe two, plus a stick in the middle. Have you counted the buttons on a PS3 controller?

  • funny guy looking at a diamond?

  • i don't think I like this. I didn't really like the rubik's revolutin either, but it's ok for what it's worth. I agree w/ others , this could never be solved in record time like the original. Mr. Erno Rubik is rolling over in his grave, and he isn't even dead yet! ;0)

  • I highly doubt you could solve this cube in under a minute, even with a very expert method. It's overpriced. I could get a collection of: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 for this price. The noise is annoying. It's probably extremely fragile.

  • I WAS interested in possibly buying. I hate the noise that it makes!!! It's as disappointing as the Rubiks Revolution (that was pretty sad)

  • The Rubik's Revolution was probably the single most disappointing product EVER made from this company. It was a complete fail.

  • I had heard rumors about it, and figured it was an electronic puzzle cube that physically turned, not a toy designed to entertain a toddler. hehe

  • In my opinion, it ruined the Rubik's name, your right, it is designed to entertain a toddler.

  • Will be confusing. I'll stick with a normal cube, which I have yet to solve.

  • i agree. id rather it physically moving

  • disgrace to all cubes everywhere!!!

  • 8x8x8 and up cubes could finally be made using this technology

  • They should make one like this but without the black seperations and make it a little bit bigger so it can be a 2x2 and all the other ones including the 8x8x8 all in one. But, I bet it's going to be expensive.

  • Hmmm. Interesting concept. I never though of it that way.

  • yeah but that takes away from the twisty part of it

it would be way better to have the actually twisty puzzle

  • Where buy that cube?

  • that looks just stupid.... a waste of technonogly

  • wow thats gonna be more harder than a ordinary rubix cube.

  • Today I just imagine that could invent a TouchCube and.... voila! That just already exist.............=(

  • You can still invent crazy cool cubes like a rubiks cube controlled by the brain completely like the new upcoming game console.

  • Is this cube seriously $150? o_O I could get a real, official cube for $12 at most places and it'll last longer, doesn't require batteries and can turn faster.

Granted it looks cool, but is there any other reason to get this that makes it different then a standard Rubik's cube?

  • and you cant afford to touch the sides or else it will turn

you have to hold the black edges

  • Good point! But that kinda sounds like a disadvantage to me, lol! But that does make it have it's own challenge: Handling.

  • the sides won't work, only the side that faces up will register touches.

it says so on the description.

  • Ohhh that's what they meant by that. I didn't quite understand that part.

    That would make it easier.

  • @PkGam Official rubiks cubes = CRAP! DIY CUBES FTW!!!

  • You have a point there, lol! My best cube broke so I tried getting 2 of the same kind hoping for the best(rubik's retooled 2008). They're SO much stiffer out of the box then my old cube... :( Heck, they even feel different from each other! Rubik's riveting is FAR too inconsistent for my liking. It's like playing the slots and hoping for 777, lol! I just can't go back to using stiff cubes, so I got myself 2 white DIYs! :D (Being shipped)

  • this comes out in august. cant wait!!!!

  • awesome, where did u get it from?

  • They've already invented these a while ago...

  • it gets sorta confusing so u can

  • ugly

  • thtz ill lol

  • it doesnt look fun. i love the original rubiks

  • it doesn't pop =D

  • whats the point???u wont get the same feeling's u have with the original, movable cube...

  • how much does this cost it is awesome. 8D

  • like $150.00.

    how lame.

  • $150

  • wow. O.O

  • WHY?

  • I played with much older electronic versions... They had buttons, not touch screens, though, but I am pretty sure they are older than this one.

  • aww, i can't throw it to the ground anymore!

Ugg... 35 years.. can't solve this touch cube!!

  • pointless!

  • Sweet idea but i can think of a lot of problems with the touch sensitive sides

  • They should call it Fail Cube

  • I can only second that!

  • szar

  • tényleg az

  • that looks harder thana normal rubiks

  • dang

  • Eh... this is a fail, I'd rather get a regular one.

  • sucks cause the middle box is moving too

  • moving the middle row is the equivalent of moving the top + bottom in the opposite direction and turning the cube. it technically could* allow for a decrease in the number of moves it takes, depending on how u count, and can be done with a normal rubix cube.

  • wtf? stupid shit

  • This is shit (garbage)

  • looks stupid and confusing TBH "_"

  • why the hell would you buy this?

  • so u dont hafta scramble it?

    O_o

    idk

  • awesame! i hope i can buy one.

    where can you find them?

  • ehh hate anything made by apple

  • 16:9 in 4:3 frame fail.

  • cool

  • wtf is the point of this... cost alot cheaper to just make a regular one and it wont break. Also a regular one does not require batterys...

  • OH NO IT BROKE WHEN I DROPPED IT!

  • You can create this game for iPhone.
