  • that's them old house speakers bumpin' in the back round..hahah would have love to her the whole song.. lol

  • The sound quality is terrible.

  • this is the track eminem - open mic from the infinite album was sampled from. well just the beginning mainly.

  • These were the dayz when everything was "groovy"

    Mr.Bill :-)

  • snoop use this along with mary J

  • Music in those days had a lot of heart! Give em your love!

  • reall music

i think this were best friend by 50 cent was sampled from

  • this song is so sexy can u dig it !!!

  • THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE MUTHA*&^$^eING SUN! NOTHING! We are just movers of information, dirt, and resources. THAT's all. enjoy the damn music. SMILE!

  • @TheNeptuneGood lol YEP

  • what about samples over samples over samples over samples lol people who diss sampling dont have a clue what sampling is. word. most sampling musicians have some traditional musical background or they wouldnt know how to make music from sampling ya dig? sampling is an art the same way that playing a guitar is (i should know i do both) (oh yea and i dont just own a guitar im actually very fluent with it) oh yea i play piano and Peruvian Quena too. Tho this debate will never end your life will.

  • listen to my shit ..real hip hop niggaz that is

  • Samplers can't create on their own. They are not music artists -- just rip off artists!!!

  • LOL. Do people who make the statement that samplers aren't true musical artists realize how many songs out there are COVERS? Or how many artists took a guitar riff if not in fact an entire melody for what's possibly one of your favorite songs of all time? My friend, sampling started waaayyyyy before hip hop was ever even thought of. And I challenge u 2 listen 2 the Beastie Boys' album "Paul's Boutique" or De La Soul's "3 Feet High and Rising" and still tell me sampling can't be an art.

  • Sampling is not an art -- it is sampling someone else's art. There, I said it!

  • 2 create something new with it. And like I said in my last comment, sampling started a long time ago. If sampling isn't an art, there are also plenty of Jazz, R&R and R&B records (some which are considered classics) that "are not art." LOL, I respect ur opinion, I just think it's absolutely wrong!

  • nooooo!! personally speaking since im a sampling producer i manipulate the hell out of a sound not only that but i manipulate my own notes sometimes over samples but either way make my own music therefore its an art

    remember

NO IDEAS ORIGINALTHERES NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN ITS NEVER WHAT YOU DO BUT HOW ITS DONE.

im walking art fuck yall niggaz that say its not

  • you are assuming that the original piece is also in fact ORIGINAL, copyrighting and ownership make the song LEGALLY theirs, but really they could have heard the melody from what they created ANYWHERE. people get the oppurtunity to get their music out there first because of money, exposure , etc. but no one is "ripping off" music because they pay massive royalties while possiblty makin a obscure song a hit. In closing, sampling is creative. you're just a hater.

  • really? so how do you feel about collages? it's the exact same concept, using what someone else already made and flipping it into something new. aka the origins of all human creativity. no idea is completely original. with an attitude like you have we wouldn't have progressed anywhere in any artistic field.

  • thank you good sir fo the break down. not many understand it

  • I try 2 pass the knowledge on 2 those that r less informed than the rest of us.

  • hey hey. don't knock til you've perfected it. Not sure if you know, but about 60 to 70% of the music you probably listen to are samples or redo's... un less all you listen to are african timbali drums and classical music

  • who only uses samples in there music? Everyone makes some original beats.

  • great song!!! and fck whoever SAMPLED it, theyre losers!!!!

  • Pete rock sampled this shit!!

  • Alicia Keys has the sample on her first album on this is the "Life" song.
