Ummm.... how is this a world record when there is a 450 foot bungee jump in Interlaken, Switzerland that also dunks you into the water. This can´t even be close. I´ve been dunked in water from a 110 foot bungee jump. No way in hell the world record is only 54 feet higher hahaha!

OMG he hit the water soooo hard.....i did the hackett at acapulco 4 times wen i was working on `MV Oceana cruise ship2008/9.....nearly as high as that into their pool...i hardly hit the water at any speed but gained 2 black eyes lol.....its also the site with the "chord snap incident" they assured me they now do less jumps per chord?!.........that really gotta hurt that poor bloke! :o/

The skill is not breaking stuff when u hit the water.

If you hit water at high speed it can be like hitting cement.

This due to the dencity of water.

Just like it takes (tho more) skill to jump from 20ft into water, without hurting yourself.
