Good point. Great info. But the fact is the police in America can do anything they want. Not legally of course, but if they want to arrest someone falsely for a D.U.I. and hold their hand over the outlet port on the B.A.C. meter to charge the innocent with "violation of implied consent., they can. I know this because it happened to me on the flooded out road to my previous home because the cops were behind on their quota because of the rain. FUCK THE POLICE!!!

It wouldnt make a huge difference. I was just thinking along the lines of not being required to give him all of the information contained on the documents. All he needs to know at that point is that I am indeed properly licensed and insured. I kinda figured you would say what you said, I was just hoping you would say something different. I suppose that having cause to pull me over in the first place would be considered cause enough to be able to take my license into his posession.

If I get pulled over while driving and the officer asks for my license and registration, do I have to actually let him touch them or just let him see them?

What difference would it make? I'm no expert, but at a guess, I would say the officer is within full rights. I say this because when you get your drivers license you're basically submitting and agreeing to adhere to motorist laws.

very very good, but I live in Spain and...do I have to let a police officer register me to see if I've got drugs? Do I have to answer any questions to him if something has happened near me? like a robaroty or an accident?do I have to identify myself if this happens?thanx great vid
