I would be worried about letting my bird put real coins in his beak though. Besides my paranoia about metal toxicity, there's also the fact that money is generally very dirty and germ-y.
Those are actually Japanese yen. ... I admit I'm not even sure what they're made of. >.> But he never chews on them, so I doubt he's ingesting any of it.
