Happy that this video has been useful for at least one viewer.

It might be a good idea to have the Stihl Valve Clearance Setting Kit #4180 007 1005.

This kit consists of the cover gasket, the small washer (sealing ring) and the feeler gauge. Or, at least have a spare gasket #4180 029 0500 in case the one fitted gets damaged.

I bought a couple of kits and was amazed at just how cheap they where, cost £1.60 a kit, thats the feeler and gaskets, genuine stihl.

The valve adjustment kit is part #4282 007 1001 , cost about $5.00 and comes with the .1mm feeler guage,valve cover gasket, and valve cover bolt gasket.

#4282 007 1001 is the kit for the BR500 & 600 blowers.

The one for the FS130,90,110 or 100 is #4180 007 1005.
