god, that was so hilarious! Who knew that Peter Davison could be such a goofball! I wish he put some of that into his incarnation of the Doctor. I can see why he's David Tennant's favorite doctor--I can imagine David Tennant doing this scene! Wouldn't that be a scream!

It would've been great if Peter did do some of that goofiness, but it probably would've been labeled eccentric and therefore too much like Tom Baker, who had just left after 7yrs.

Peter Davison is the best! Great to see him as someone else not just the Doctor! I couldn't stop laughing all through All Creatures Great And Small! Siegfried was the number 1 hypocrite on every subject. I was like OMG when I saw Robert Hardy in Harry Potter.
