You don't need internet to play it, but you need to get songs through the internet. Anyway, there is a stepmania version which you can play online with.
I got this simfile for my StepMania shortly after you posted it on FFR (it was near the top of the front page), and I have to tell you it has become one of my favorite simfiles to date. You did this song great justice my friend. Incredible.
