sure, a lot of people copied little richard including elvis, jerry lee lewis, and the beatles, but little richard was still a huge star. he is an enormously successful man and a household name. it isn't as if he hasn't got his due credit.

I first saw Little Richard in 1957 at George Washington High School in SF. At that time this song came out by Evelyn Freeman and the Exiting Voices. As exciting as Richard is, he doesn't touch Freeman's version

I saw Jerry Lee about the same time in 1957 somewhere in the Bay Area/SF. Also saw Little Richard, Jerry Lee and Chuck Berry about 4 years ago at the Concord Pavilon. Richard and Jerry Lee brought the house done. Chuck Berry stalked off stage after 20 minutes of crap he was dishing out. Disgraceful! No one should ever pay to see the not so merry Mr. Chuck Berry!!!
