Actually if u saved the game with the update it wont let you go to your saved game

Just delete the update, then go to the disc and play, it will ask u if you want to download it, hit circle, the game will still start, then load ur game and enjoy glitches

@artour56 Because you can only read it when searching through a body or activating a bookshelf for it not to disappear. It's like a spell book, once you read it, it goes away, but because your in the bookshelf when you read it, it doesn't disappear. Hope that helped :)

No longer works on patched version of PS3!! You can do it once, but after placing it back on bookshelf, it will not let you read again. If you try to take it from bookshelf and read it again, it will take all books off the bookshelf and make will disappear along with some others.

2) You must have cheated if you only level 1.

I think its patched, but on 1.1.12 you can still do it... but this time you need a bookshelf too...

1. open a storage place (i.e. shelf), then read book

3. store book and exit the storage.

4. open the storage place... if you read the book at this point, it will not give you anything... just take the book.

5. go to bookshelf, activate bookshelf and store the book.

6. take the book from bookshelf, select *DO NOT READ*.

7. go back to step 1 and it will be ok again.

So. I downloaded the new patch for Xbox a few hours ago. I then did this and maxed out everything. I made full dragon armour. Fully increased, smithing, sneaking and two handed. Level 81. My health, magic and stamina are massive. I then started the 'Wolf Queen Awakened' quest and I am getting my arse kicked all over the place. Vampires are making mincemeat of me, it's like I never levelled up. Like I levelled DOWN. I really hope the patch didn't do this...... Any advice anybody?

@43jsr I think it was but you can still do it just do this instead 1.Take the book from your inventory and put in a chest 2.While your still in the menu with the option to enter the chest take the book 3.Read it and level up 4.put the book back in the chest but don't leave 5.Repeat
