I dont really get it, Im a mongolian, in my mind, Huns are our ancestors before Chenggis Khan was born, cuz its him who united all tribes to set up a country call Mongolia, after that we became Mongolian. But from your map, we suddenly appeared in that region, which is not true, scientific research has proved old Huns have quite similar gene with current Mongols, with turk, its more cultural connection rather than blood relationship.

@btaa30 Mongols were the desent of Syinpis and Avars.... among all nomadic origion people, Turkic Uyghurs are the closest people to ancient Huns, becasue they known as Sons of Modu(Oguze) founder of Xiongnv Empire.
