S.A.S.O. A flat tax isn't a bad idea in itself. But for it to be fair it would mean the wealthiest actually paying it. All the little loop holes they use to avoid tax would need to be filled. Public hand outs with little or no oversight would need to stop and laws and regulations would need to be tightened so these corporations are not allowed to steal ( enron ) or buy politicians to gain favourable legislation.

A level playing field must be a level playing field for all.
