  • wish the u.s had one. :(

  • @dirtyharry9111 It's from a serious study about security - Although Germany has a central position, French use quite as much Highway as German and for same reasons : holidays, business, transport - 70% of the german death were situated on highspeed highways : speed kills - Mit freundlichen Grüssen

  • how do you 'speed' with no speed limits?

  • vive les autoroutes allemande.... rien qu'ils ont 50 cm de couche d'asphalte (tu m étonnes qu'ils ont des routes nickel) ici on en a meme pas 30 pfff

  • Look at the tard. Left blinker, here I come. That's exactly what makes these people dangerous. Fuckin asshole.

  • Best highways in Germany? Not sure

    2009 : 700 deads on german highways - 300 deads in France

And it is not a question of distance caus' the network of highways is almost the same

  • @jamecontent no its not, google it. tard

  • @xdelta1 you're too late - good night noob!

  • @jamecontent sorry but i dont speak this kind of immature language with words like "noob". you probably need to grow up, thanks

  • Are you kidding me? Even my Mom goes 160 or 180kmh. My regular traveling speed is 220 with some ranges of 250 when traffic is low. I have to flag this video because of misleading text!

  • wish we had one in nz if we did i whould buy one

  • i've been pased by a carrera gt once on the autobahn... and i almost pissed my pants :D

  • the dream car.Best technology money can buy.

  • @masterpatric07 Was, bit old now.

  • @iPROFITDON yes but it is still the nicest one and only a few cars can beat it after more than 10 years.a car way ahead of it's time.If porsche decides to remake the car and actualize it with the double clutch etc it will be the best car period again.

  • @masterpatric07 Its one of my favorite but it wasn't the fastest anything except Porsche and only that for a short time. Still has the best sound of any exotic.

  • @masterpatric07 still I prefer it over any ZR1 or any other porsche.even over ferrari.

Do you suggest any other option better than this?

  • lol that speed make the other cars look like they wouldnt even move :O

  • This is one of the things I dream of doing one day. Driving a Carrera GT at max speed on the autobahn! :D

  • @JDubs878 do not dream act.believe in your thoughts and make them reality, but needs to be followed by actions.reprogram your subconscious mind first then evertything fits on it's own.trust me.

  • sound ?

  • Excuse me while I crank out 8000rpms

  • daaamn, german cars is the best of world, autobahns is the best highways of world

  • I've always have this question in my mind:

Why does German authority allow people to drive as fast as they want? Is it trust? Is it something else? I don't know of any other country in the world that allows this. Speed limits in the Americas are around 120km/h; I think even 160km/h or 180km/h would be a nice limit. But... 330km/h. It's great, but if some newbie takes the wheel of his dad's Enzo?

  • @fluence51 We have no speed limit because we are the best drivers!

"In germany die less people in car accidents than in other countries. Germany cars need special requirements to be allowed to drive on the street. "

  • @Basti6814 Klar, ich glaub man kann schnell fahren wenn alle wissen wie schnell zu fahren. Leider, hier im Mexiko jeder kann einer Führerschein erhalten ohne zu fahren wissen :(

  • @fluence51 The question is "Why not?" The cars can drive so fast and at night or at sunday theres no traffic so why shouldn't you drive over 200km/h? There are nearly no accidents with cars at this speed and you can only drive so fast on some highways for some time. But the main reason is that a Enzo in Germany costs about 660.000€ and NO german father would give his Enzo to his son :)

  • @fluence51

to get a driver´s license you´ve got to be 18 years old and participate in several hours of theoretical and practical lessons. You learn how to drive in the city as well as on the autobahn. Your car has to be in a appropriate condition or you can trash it. Plus the rules to always drive on the right lane, if you are not overtaking, makes it pretty save to drive the autobahn at high speed.

  • @lanzelotz26 I just hope it were the same worldwide. Since 2002, in Mexico it takes longer waiting for a pizza than getting a license driver :(

  • 340 it looked and sounded like he could get there easy :P

  • you cant really speed on the autobahn lol...

  • Sure you can !

  • how can u speed when there is no speed limit :D

  • @oniondeluxe only about 50% of places on the autobahn have no limit. Sucks cause it should be all unlimited.

  • Comment removed

  • you call 330km/h not speeding? :D

  • @darkbusta2 not really when on the autobahn you can go as fast as you want :D

  • ya there are a bunch of local foreign car dealers here in phoenix arizona.. and i've seen carrera gt's..pulling out of those dealerships like crazy...:)

  • Just love it when the fast guys have their left traffic indicator on to point out that they are on the fast lane and planning on staying there. In Germany they respect that. In Holland the slower users would stay in the fast lane just to annoy..... fuckers.

  • indd! gewoon rechts inhalen die hap!

  • It's actually illegal now. As is flashing your headlights, or driving to close. It's called "besetting" in the german traffic law.

But you can always overtake them on the right side. Costs way less when you get caught and you get to make them very angry.

  • If you get caught.

The most expensive is besetting, than overtake right and than it costs even less when you use the emergency lane. The lowest tickets of all these is using blue light like the police :D

  • nice....nuf said

  • is this guy driving an automatic carrera gt? cause it is shifting awefully early at 8.5 not even pushing the car... if so for shame for driving such a powerful beautiful car with an automatic transmission

  • you cant have an automatic porsche carrera gt

  • master is right tho. the USA is very easy to get your liscense from if your not a retard. Im from the USA and i know you are right with the fatalities facts. most ppl here drive like fuckin retards.

  • !!!

  • BMW needs to stop putting limiters on their vechicles.

  • The 250km/h limiter is a legal thing.

You'll need a racing license if you want it shipped without the limiter.

  • Wrong

  • Limiter is at 257km/h to be exact and you'll need a racing license type C or higher to get the car shipped without it.

Look it up on their homepage (which I did) or ask a BMW dealer. They wont do it on all cars, but some.

  • Maybe in the US, but not here (thank god :D )

  • ...

  • 250km/h is hardly slow either, to think that the mainstream german high-performance cars could probably do that speed for a long time and never get tired.

  • not in germany....

  • IN GERMANY.

  • Yeah, you don't have a lambo.

Also, there is no such thing as an Intel Q9380.

  • sorry meant q9300 processor and i will make a video on my lambo pics can never be found on flickr or google or whatever because i will take fucking photos

  • Well, I could go to my local exotic car dealer and take pics of a Phantom or something, but it doesn't mean it's mine.

  • you have a local exotic car dealer? do you live in Beverly Hills or something?

  • Nope, Phoenix. I have a bunch within a 20min. driving distance.

  • u sound very sad...I pity u XD

  • The Autobahn is in Germany. Where do you think it is lol.

  • about 2 years ago i got my family's BMW 650 cabrio to 257km/h on autobahn. i thought there is a limiter for those speeds but it turns out that there isnt.)

  • there is but they arent always exactly set to 250, just ruffly, you can usually get the cars to 260 before it kicks in

  • that may be.. but i couldnt go any faster to check it coz the soft roof felt like it was going to fall off!))

  • the soft roof on my dad's clk500 was holding on well at those speeds ;)

  • well i guess BMW makes shit soft roofs then)) the engine is good tho

  • no speed limit for porsche, as i know mercedes, bmw and audi have those limits

  • ahhh ahh youre wrong mercedes yes Bmw some and audi no im driving an audi A 6 and there is no limit i drove here in germany 289 Km/h and if there would be speedlimit it would stop at 260 or 280 cause my mercedes C class was stopping at 280 down to 270 and then again up to 280 and down to 270 was quiete enoying

    Greetings

  • nope, this was filmed from my bicycle, yeah it is soooo fast, juhuuu!

In germany die less people in car accidents than in other countries. Germany cars need special requirements to be allowed to drive on the street. Thats why we have no speedlimit on some autobahn.

  • @morfing

in fact, any eu car is as good as a german car.

  • Teh best hgihways in the World......I love german Autobahn

  • Mate it's legal and safe if you do it responsibly. You're just jealous cause you've got a speedlimit of 45 miles an hour on your freeways :D

  • lol safe ya right. The speed limit over here on our freeway is around 60-70 mph depending in which state you are in. Some states allow 80 mph.

I remember when I was a kid growing up in Poland. I had to go through the autoban with my dad....crazy stuff.

  • buzz off, sissy!

  • I drive on the autobahn almost every day... 1st. I love it that theres no speedlimit. But not all people drive that fast. most people drive between 120-180 km/h. even though 180 is fast, there are still guys that go MUCH faster... But a lesser percentage of people are killed on the german autobahn than on american highways... not only because of the car requirements but also because the drivers ed is much harder than in the usa... don´t know about other countries..

  • Also with a speed limit, rather than people being able to adapt to a speed that is safe based on the traffic around them they have to stick to a uniform speed limit therefore putting more pressure on drivers, making them anxious and more likely to do something stupid, thats my theory anyways.

  • NO LIMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Super Porsche und Deutscheautobahn macht Alles wunderbar!

  • For Sale: french machinegun, never used -just dropped one time :)

  • Filmed from a motorbike!!!, your a cockhead, this IS real, if it was a motorbike you would hear LOTS of wind, and the tacho does not go high enough. Nice video though.

  • you really should think before you speak

  • @MartijnMb: It's the cockpit of a CGT!

  • porsche motors sound more holo plus rpm almost never stays at 800 that will really damage the engine

  • Such a pretty car

  • Fake.

    Filmed from a motorbike.

  • filmes from a motorbike :D:D LOL NOOOBBBBBBBBBBBB

  • look i really want to know what motorbike has a porsche dash

  • look up pictures of a Carrera GT gauge layout. it's a CGT. trust me.

  • You can't "speed" on the autobahn. There's no speed limit.

  • In theory...65% of autobahn roadway in Germany is speed regulated though.

  • It's pathetic that you neanderthals have to argue about a car video on youtube.

  • I love how the wing goes up and down at sertain speeds. It doesn't show on vid but it does

  • Das nenn ich Deutsche Wertarbeit ;)

  • i love at the end of the vid the way it starts floating

  • Bruto

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID IDIOT... how old are you? 10?

  • Yeah Lol! He probably is, the little motherfucker.

  • If you like this video, check out the videos posted by sikrydez!!!!!

  • You guys are dump. the real speed was like 140 km/h and the speedometer was from a GP moto

  • lol have u ever seen a carrera gt speedometer before?

lol a GP moto... cmon dude

  • You got guts man.

  • josedguez your dumb, he clocks at 332 KM/PH not MPG, no way in hell a porsche could do that. so to make my final statement, he was doing about 208 MPH. don't get me wrong though, thats still fasttt

  • in reality, 2,000hp + fiberglass body = oblitteration. I was talking to some old corvette owners who had their owner corner at the Dalllas Auto show a few weeks ago and they told me that 7/10 of every Z06 vette has already had an insurance claim on it. I can't say that number is accurate..most likely includes stolen cars. But we're talking the stock Z06, with just over 500hp, not 2000!

  • Whoever made the dumbass corvette comment: you can't get 2000hp out of any Vette engine, not even the 7L LS7, even if you had $300k to try and make it support that much horsepower. Then you claim that this super-duper 2000hp 45k Vette will sound better than a V10 purring german beast. You're forgetting that the Vette is only an american V8. Next you talk about fuel economy, wtf? Do you think somebody who can afford a $450,000 car cares?

  • 4000hp isn't uncommon out of top fuel dragsters.

I can see a 2000hp LSx block. No traction obviously beyond the realm of slicks, but still.

  • What!!! who would want to buy a corvette instead of a pagani/porsche carrera gt or mclaren haha. Ok if you want to go in a straight line its fine but elsewhere in the world theres such things called corners!

  • Its a matter of taste, dipshit. Its like comparing llamas and butt plugs. It just doesn't work.

  • with supercars like these, do u hav to break in the engine first like other 'normal' cars?

  • I read somewhere that porsche runs thier car engines in for 24hrs before the customer receives it.

  • true...to make sure everything is 100% perfect

  • when i took delivery of my porsche turbo they said to go easy on it for the first 500 miles idk bout carrera GT tho

  • You obviously have never bought one as the break in is much more complicated than that for maximum performance and longetivity of the engine.

  • 332km/h and growing!

  • What a wonderful autobahn is that there are no cars

  • No Pagani, McLaren or Carrera GT for me...with the money those cars cost you would make a 2000 HP Corvette Z06 and still have better fuel consumption and sound better...even if i had the money I wouldnt buy them...

  • lol dont make me laugh... dont compare a big ass corvette with this car... the power its just a part of a car.

  • lololololol

  • lol i doubt the fuel consumption will be less then carrera gt with 2000HP :) I would also consider the 2000HP makes it undrivable on a track, 2000hp is good for short straight lines like drag races.

  • U r so wrong, 2000bhp is good for high speeds, for drag races, you need a lot of torque!!

  • dont talk stupid things, dragster's have maybe 2000HP but they go only straight. A GP car with 2000HP would be undrivable on a track. It will slide in every corner.

  • you're the one who is talking stupid!! please go read books or magazines or the net wherever you get your knowledge from or should i say bullshit???

  • no i think you must read books before you open your mouth. Tell me a race car with 2000HP that is drivable on a track.

  • i am not saying a car with that power is drivable on track, you're missing the point, all i was saying, for a drag race, you'd need great acceleration and that is a combination of horsepower as well as torque!! that is all i was saying!! by that way, what engine size would actually handle 2000 bhp????

  • Some Formula 1 cars have 4 cylinder engines with over 800hp, I remember reading about it in an F1 track guide I bought at a Grand Prix race in Montreal. Scale that up to six, eight or twelve cylinders and you can image, with the right engineering, you can get a lot of horsepower - even from engines with only four cylinders!

  • i kinda understand that! just like the mitsibushi evo IX FQ360, it has 4 cylinders and an output power of 360 bhp. kool!

  • Some Formula 1 cars had 4 cylinder engines and turbo in the 80s, not anymore. "Engines are mandated as 2.4 litre normally aspirated V8s, with many other constraints on their design and the materials that may be used...

For 2007 the V8 engines are restricted to 19,000 rpm with limited development areas allowed, following the engine specification freeze from the end of 2006."

  • Yep, thats right. The rules where 1,5 liter turbo or 3 liter without turbo. Bmw's engine had 1350hp during a qualify run in 84 (not 100% sure about the year, bu t close), 1,5 liter based on the M10 engine block used in 2002 tii in the 70's.

  • ptet turbo de m6

  • C'est l'émission Auto-moto, non?

  • Commentaires de merde...

  • earfight.... a cobra... no one cares about doing the quertor in 6.4 I'd rather take the porsche.

  • See if you can drive a 6.4 1/4 car in the road every day. Plus it won't handle as good in real driving conditions. Porsche is king.

  • Is it MPH or KM'H?

  • Kmh

  • Of course kmh!!! Do you imagine 332 mph????

  • lol i didnt write this...maybe someone was using my pc while my account was on...lol..

    hehehe 332MPH... :o

  • mph its km's man

  • DAamn were r u livin that u have a zonda? i prefer cgt

  • Did you see the motorcyclist on the other side of the road rubbernecking at the end of the video? Must've heard that thing coming a mile away. We're blessed to be graced by such great vehicles. Love the idea of sitting in the middle of the vehicle when driving instead of one side or the other. However, after seeing the Bugatti Veyron in Top Gear...whoa.

  • Thats funny you caught that!

  • 332

  • McLaren-Mercedes SLR is the best car!

  • lyk omg nooo teh boogatee vayrohn is teh bestest car lol!

  • i hate people keep goin on about bugatti veyron. sure it is one hell of a car but come on it doesnt look half as good as the porsche and many other great supercars for that matter

  • the front view would been better than the back view of the camera

  • booze is what he is on

    the F1's handing is BADASS

  • The McLaren's handling pathetic? What are you on?

  • Give me a fully blown cobra over these anyday. Kick any supercars ass :P. Do the quater mile in 6.4 second :P

  • Lol cobras suck....they sure rocket in a straight line..but handling is terrible. What is a sports car if it can't handle

  • yeah but u'd still be driving a cobra..

  • and how is driving a cobra... even comparable to that of a supercar? Why would anyone drive an American car... at all. I would rather walk. And I'm American.

  • i dont know. the corvette z06 is a great car. obviously doent compare to the porsche gt though

  • Id just prefer a quater mile car is all. I like lampy cam sounds. Maybe if you got a massive lumpy cam in the carrera then hell yeah id take it over the cobra

  • Great driving great video!!

  • my kia picanto would ace them all :D

  • McLaren F1 would be impossible to drive on an Autobahn at that speed. Although it is a unbelievably quick car, its handling is pathetic and would cause an accident with cars on the road no matter how good of a driver you are.

Personally I would take the GT over the Zonda also...

  • Bullshit, are you kidding me? Watch an old Top Gear reviewing the McLaren. It weighs nothing, that's why it has fantastic handling.

  • You're the one who should revisit the Top Gear review of the McLaren F1. Clarkson in fact compared it to a rhinoceros, because of it's weight. And about it's handling he had this to say:

"You know that scene in Dr. Strangelove, where Peter Sellers is riding the nuclear bomb. That's what it's like. You don't know what's going on, you've got no real control. You just know the journey is gonna end very soon and very badly."

  • Zonda F, Carrera GT both fantastic cars bo the one that really rocks is still the McLaren F1!!

  • 330 kilos is pretty damn fast

  • A Pagani Zonda F would indeed be better, but why should we worry? A car that goes 300+ kph rocks anyway...

  • No man Carrera GT

  • My Pagani Zonda F is better
