While trying to figure out how to mirror a brush image, I stumbled onto this video. I followed along making my own picture. Totally don't understand Photoshop, but trying to learn. Really great tutorial...will have to check out your website. Thanks!!
i dont know why people keep zooming in with the magnifying tool, just hit alt and scroll up with the mouse wheel its much more specific. and hit the b button for brush fuck clicking everything so
I loaded the grass but then when i loaded another brush the grass wasn't an option anymore. it was like it was overwritten. Do i have to load the downloaded brush again every time i want to use it???
@ChocoChanDaysu - When you load your brushes, a window will pop up and say "Replace current brushes with the brushes from....?" Then you can either hit "OK", "Cancel" or "Append". If you hit OK, then the current brushes you have loaded will dissapear and the new brushes you're loading will take their place. If you hit "Append", then the old brushes will stay there and the new brushes you're loading will also be included. Hope that helps.
Sorry. When I told you about the pop-up window, that was in regular Photoshop and I thought Photoshop Elements did the same thing. In Elements after you hit the little double arrows and "load" your new brush, it replaces all the others. But then you'll see at the top of the brush screen a label that says "Brushes" with a dropdown selection next to it. Click that drop down menu to select the brushe you want to use. It still replaces current brushes though but you don't have to re-load them.
um i can't find the brushes i downloaded when i try to find them in photoshop, i know what fuile it's in but it says the file is empty, something isn't right
uhmm how do i get 2 images and grab one peace of the 2 and put it on the 1 sT D: i cant seem to get that part cuz i wanna make my self look zombie. grab a meat picture and ptu it on my face
It's little odd to start with a color for the sky but change it completely to different at the end. I don't want to be nitpicker and I know it's just tutorial so people can learn how to use tools. I'm just wondering.
Whichever color you have as the top swatch will create the color of the cloud. If you have a gray color on the top swatch, then the clourds will be gray.
The yellow circle around the mouse is a function of Camtasia that I use to create the video. I believe you can, however, go into your mouse settings (unde control panel) to make adjustments to your mouse such as adding trails and stuff.
@fluddly The brush does it automatically. Whatever color you have chosen as your top swatch will be the predominant color of the brush. For instance if the clouds had been red there would be pink mixed in.
Hi scrappingguy, I have a question that I hope you can answer. I don't know if you tried CS4 but I currently have the free trial for the CS4 program, and I don't want to shell out all the money for CS4 so I wanted to get PSE7, I was wondering what the differences between the two were, if you knew. I was searching the internet and couldn't seem to find them, I would like to know if the two programs are very different or quite similar. Thanks for taking the time to read. -Namurashi
If I understand your question, you can change the size of your brushes (make them bigger or smaller) by clicking the left and right bracket keys "[" or "]" on the keyboard.

@scrappingguy
Thank you for your reply. When I load the brush a window doesn't pop up asking if I want to cancel or append. The brush just goes there.

Can you tell me how you get your brush to just lay down one object and not a long line. I can't figure that out.

@bluebirdflats hold your mouse still, and just click once. To darken it, click again in the exact same place.

@MrSparkSome - the bracket keys are the " [ " and " ] " just above the enter key on your keyboard.

I have a question for you:
How did you get the clouds to appear White, with Blue mixed in?
Or is that what the brush does?
fluddly 2 years ago
Whichever color you have as the top swatch will create the color of the cloud. If you have a gray color on the top swatch, then the clourds will be gray.

Oh.
Oh and another thing.
How did you get your mouse that colour?
I lose my mouse and I think how you have it would help me out a lot ^-^ Thanks.

Would you mind making a tutorial in making backgrounds for youtube using photoshop elements? It'd be greatly appreciated!
