My guess is that the singing is subdued due to the reverential mood Srila Radhanath Swami seems to be exhibiting. Otherwise, nothing seems to be hampering him at all.

@shiluji Speaking in general, bhajans are about more than just technical ability. They are about devotion and singing on one's spiritual strength. Radhanath swami is a well respected Sanyasi and we were honored to have him singing with us. In any case, if you don't like this one, there are hundreds of others to choose from that I've uploaded.

If not singing out of love, then better not sing at all.
