@08indigo08 It makes it a lot easier in the UK as when you had to buy books on earlier Kindles from the US store the exchange rates and so on made the books a little more costly.
@Adam29477 The battery life is good but I doubt a month. Even if you dont use it for a month and it is asleep it will drain. Shops tend to say daft things at times. However the battery life is excellent and not a concern for most people.
@Adam29477 The battery life is a month, providing you read about an hour a day. And it doesn't drain easily. It has an ink-screen, so you only use battery when you "turn pages".
@omendark123 I own one too and have done since it came out. It drains, please charge yours and dont use it for a month or so and see what happens. It does have great battery life for most normal use but it doesnt last forever. Perhaps as the device gets older the battery will deteriorate.
@ashleyluvsag Yes I do like the Kindle, I have read quite a number of books on it now. There are kindle apps available also, so if I read on a Blackberry for example it syncs to the furthest page read and when you go back to the kindle you can carry on where you left off.
You're so lucky to have got yours already, there's a delay on mine because of strong customer demand and this video makes me want mine now! Can't wait for the review.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY KINDLE IS IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BOX THAT IS VERY SLIM AND HAD A PICTURE OF IT ON THE FRONT?

@omendark123 Even if you leave it asleep with a full battery it will drain. I know because I have tested it.
