Dex is now back in California at New Beginnings in Norco, his home church. He was more famous actually, he was in the band All Together Separate in the early 2000's. He did not have an affair, his reasons for leaving Fellowship Church were personal and had more to do with his family.

That's interesting that he used to be more well-known. I never heard of him before until recently when I stumbled across one of his videos. I didn't know he is from Southern California. I visited Fellowship Church when I was in Dallas a few days ago. Took some video - or at least tried to - got stopped by security. I don't understand why some people are allowed to take video and others are not. Doesn't make sense. I'm not hurting anyone with my video camera! I don't get churches like that - it's so stupid. I'm going to post that video here in a few days. I didn't know Dex didn't go to this church anymore. What did you do when you were working there?

Did you work for Fellowship Church? Please elaborate. You must have been in the "inner circle" (worked for them?) to know so much? It always look good from the outside, doesn't it? But when you get closer inside the circle, you start seeing all kinds of things you never saw before - yea, I know how that is. Trust me. Been there, done that with another prominent leader who is on TV now, who is a big huge jerk by the way. But most everyone thinks he's one of "God's anointed"- LoL.

The band has changed a alot. There are some members, like Hank on guitar, that you don't see much anymore. BUT, Dex is there nearly every weekend. I'm not sure but he may hit the other campus' too. There are campus' in Grapevine, Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano and Hawkins, Texas..also one in Miami, Florida. I love this church.

Hmmm....the only reason I would visit the church is because of Dex. Just want to check it out and see how the worship band is. I used to live in DFW for 3 years. I like Texas; I just can't stand the heat! I hope Dex is there when I go. It would be disappointing to go and find out he's not there.

This is such a powerful song! I love it. This is praise at its best!!! A fresh melody and beat is perfect for the phrase "new creation"!!! We played this song today at church and in the middle they turned it into a hip-hop kinda song and we had breakdancers perform! it's times like those when you realize that our God deserves all our praise...our loud and unhindered praise!! dance, sing, shout, clap, whatever! but praise!!!

Awesome!! the church ive been going to for the past couple weeks did this for their service on easter sunday drums and all .
