  • We Miss You Old Man.

  • I love you, Red Crow.

  • Great man!

  • i respected floyd red crow westerman even thought am navajo the vision i have seen is true

  • Be at peace

  • spirit and physical what an honour to hear his words

  • mr. red crow. a man i would willingly give my life for

  • Fry4leela give your life to yourself. It will bring peace to yourself and others.:-)

  • Miss you Red Crow wherever you are. I'm glad we can still hear your voice.

  • Floyd is the spirit. Prescott Bush stole Geronimo's bones and brought them to the "tomb" i.e. skull and bones 322 at Yale and funded the Nazis, but that's besides the point.

This man is king. His word is the spirit.

  • Oh my God. I have SOOOOOO much respect to this guy!

  • A Great Man, I don't have enough words to say how much I respect, admire and wish people (of all ancestries) would heed his words.

  • I was lucky enough to meet him a few years back and he made such an impression on me.

    Poéekup Floyd - always remembered.

  • Boy his mind stayed so strong through all he had to deal with....

  • Bet she wasn't expecting something so in depth when she asked her question...

  • Red Crow has a kind and gentle spirit and I'm sure he is dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

  • Thank you for putting this up here. It's a good interview. Much appreciated.

  • MY faVORITE LINE OF HIS IN DANCES WITH WOVES IS "We will not go, YOU will go".

  • hehe, he is so right...

  • the Belgian KOLA (keep our Lakota aware) told me that Sioux is French word for them and is an insult as it measn savages or so. I thought it came from Minneconjoux? So, Lakotas pelase tell me the truth...is it an insult indeed?

  • This is truly a loss. I had Floyd Red Crow in my prayers. He is in a better place watching over his family and people. My condolences and prayers for his family and friends. Thank you Yaocoalt for this Video.

  • Let us remember our brother warrior by continuing to fight for the dignity and justice of all Native people. Red Crow, have a safe journey and thank you for your words and music.

  • Sadly, he has passed away.

It is wonderful to see and hear this

    wonderful Lakota man here.

  • some thing ive been noticing as of last 20 years, is that native peoples seem to be breeding with the mexicans a lot.

While I understand people have needs, the "face" of the southwest tribes seems to be swept away for that of a Mezlo look.

Only people I dont see doing this are the apachy.

would be a shame for people to lose their identy

  • We all became what we are by the same process. Change happens, and those changes will become their own identity some day. It's neither good or bad. It just is.

  • I am Mexican and Jicarilla Apache. Several of the NM Natives have mixed Cactusgreen several generations. This is why Navajos, Pueblos and Apache have Spanish last names. I am happy to see that the Mescalero, Jicarilla and White Mountain Reserations are promoting their language and traditions via public schools. It is up to the tribe and parents to preserve and teach the future generations, so that our culture doesn't perish.

  • he is cherokee also can anyone find the song bia plz ty

  • His myspace page states that he is from the

Dakota Sioux Reservation, not the Cherokee rez.

  • I believe he's a Dakota Sioux

  • He is

  • Please pray for floyd and his family

  • un uomo meraviglioso......wasteh

  • Does any one know what tribe Mr. Westerman is? Thanks

  • He is from the Hopi tribe.

  • Thank you so much konofrey.

  • Konofrey, no, sorry, he is not from the Hopi.
