Well it's is not because of the tool assisted. It's because of the jump Gen does and ryu are nearby. So gen ''punch over'' ryu for the direction to where it supos do go... Thats it. There no Trick there.

Those are just clips from different fights dude. The torn costume is Ryu's alternate. It's part of the costume pack that you purchase off of PSN, or the 360 store (dunno the name)
