  • I RAFF I RUSE?

    Pffs, stinky asians.

  • quincy arrows from bleach

  • hes a quincy!!

  • Way too anime-styled for my taste (leaving your head down in a sword fight just to look weaboo, effectively leaving you blind), extreme tension of movement (which is, again, unconvincing, since any martial art teaches a student to fight in a relaxed state) and such.

Yes, as cinematography it was nice, decent special effects, good choreography for the untrained eye but just..... way to weaboo. Really.

  • fresh

  • i hope ur bow breaks from dry-firing you stupid prick.

  • @MattKondrath u suck

  • You know a fighting video is shit when the person misspelled "Choreograph" in the TITLE. It makes Uwe Boll fight scenes look like the Matrix.

  • nice bow...crap fight

  • @guyi2545 first YOU make something better then talk sh**, ehrm smack

  • haha its not hard to make something better then this its just why the fuck would i want to make this im amazed if anyone wants too shit moves shit effects simple as your a retard for coming up with such an unoriginal comment and such poor delivery....."ehrm smack"...fuckwit.

  • Not what I'd call intense 'coegraph.' But whatever for what its worth. Although I have to say, on the very first strike the guy in the black could have walked into the blow with his left leg, if he did that he'd have the inside and side position which essentially means death in about half a second.

  • cool effectworking 5*

  • were you dry firing that bow?

  • dude i think he was.... that really messes up a bow dude.

  • yea, not good especially for a compound bow

  • i actually dont think he was firing it at all, just pulling his hand back to make it look like he was.

  • stfu lmao

  • and he does it like a total of twice. They just loop the tape at the beginning to make it look like hes firing multiple times...-_-

  • the fight was amatuer, but like the samurai showdown and the special effect. I'm guessing you use adobe after effects right?

  • At 59 looked like the white guy was charging up his zanpakuto of light like ichinose in bleach lol

  • I expected a HADOUKEN! from the guy in white to tell the truth.

But yeah it was O.K. looked a bit slowed down and fake because of the caution but still good.

  • Cool :D me and my brother were thinking of doing this but we never got the chance.

Just we would've used bokken instead of live blades.

  • music rocks

  • pimpin especially the light arrows

  • They were live blades? Holy shit! I thought they were iaito! No wonder you had to be careful!

  • I agree that using metal blades is a dangerous practice and safety is a concern, I just feel that your speed and precision seems to suffer for it. It's hard to find the right balance between accuracy and cinematography and I think that maybe you guys might want to consider pushing either the posture or the camera angles more. Or consider making more precise movements and speeding up the film for impacct. I do really like the lighting and blur effects though. Make more!

  • sorry but just play with comupter effects is not what I understand in swordfight choreography.

  • pinches reidikulos

    ke ni guerreros son pendejos

  • Very, very good montage.

  • I'm happy with it.

  • i want that program =(

  • The camera work was great, though i think you overdid it with the flashy effects.

    5 out of 5 nontheless.

  • good job guys... no amatuer here

  • that was awesome! i gotta try that...

  • Cool video...keep up the good work

  • The cinematography of this video is quite competent, as it is what we as cinema-goers or viewers of choreographed fights expect to see. As far as the real sword choreography, it was generally lacking, which the cinematography worked well to disguise. Hollywood does it, and you worked like them.

It's a well-done video, no doubt. But the actual fighting leaves more to be desired.

  • indeed cinematography was the prime concern in the video, our skills with swordsmanship is of much high quality. However real swords were used in that video and saftey and precaution was of the utmost importance

  • @ljonesvc Do you have any good examples of well choreographed sword fights/duels?

  • Sweet vid...Thats some dam good camera work and editin :D

  • haha, great sword fight, all with a matrixy look. you just need actual sound effects when your swords class and sounds for the struggles between them b/c i think thats what you were trying to achieve. i like the glare in the swords and the sense of "power" when they class :)

  • nice look, tis pity about the "intense sword choreography", it was pretty lame.

  • I didn't that was amature-ish, I thought it was very well chorieographed(sp?) fight, I've seen some pretty dumb ones on here but this was excellent.

  • this was actually a good video usally it takes forever to find one like this cause people are such morons but good job for you

  • what editor was used?

  • awsome stuff! you know your music~ i'd like to give you props for your comment ^^ i'm glad you know what good music is!

  • jus wondering one thing...did ur katanas get all cracked up in the blade after the fight

  • Awesome fight... Great Coerographing for an amature ;D
