  • jerry bruckheimer credits thing on the back screen haha

  • but it run with Linux ??

  • Hax!!

  • HAX!!!

  • What Setup For PC?Windowss Vista.

  • Why the hell would you need that many monitors????

  • @1hampster1 for runing visuals i a club

  • what do u need in order to do that with two moniters and a laptop

  • 6 monitors - one for each of my eyes

  • What is the point of 6 monitors i see 2 or 3 but come om

  • che cagata

  • My Laptop only recognizes one of the two screens that are plugged into it. One is a desktop moniter (an old modile that doesn't utilive s-video plugs, and it already works) and a big screen tv that does utilize s-video cables but is not working when I plug it into the laptop. My laptop is a Sony vaio that runs on vista. Do I need a specific graphics card or is there a program that I can download? Remember, the plugs are different but they both plug into my laptop.

  • @Natedawg422 You can't use S-video as a dual screen. S-video is only to mirror your screen not to extend it.

  • @Robbie7upB wrong

i did it with my 600m years ago.

    maybe for your laptop

  • @Robbie7upB Actually I can extend my Laptop screen onto my TV, but the problem that Im having is that I cant get my laptop to display both my desktop moniter and my tv at the same time despite the fact that they both plug into my laptop. And its really frustrating because my laptop recognizes that they are both plugged in but it only displays one at a time. So my question was "Is there a program that can use that will let my laptop use both my tv and monitor?"

  • @Natedawg422 No, you can't. Only two monitor at a time. Or Notebook and TV, or Notebook and monitor, or TV and monitor. Even in desktops you can't have 3 monitors at the same time(with one video card). Just a few months ago AMD ATI released a card that support 3 monitors in one video card and the technology is called Eyefinity. Look for it here on youtube.

  • I've had a fair bit of experience with multi-screen setups since Windows 98 came out.

I'd recommend the ATI Fire MV 2400 - a PCI-E "quad head" graphics card - its pricey (or was as its been out a while as it was designed for stock brokers originally unfortunately), and although low performance in terms of speed - great for web-surfing or multimedia dev work, much better potentially than any USB video monitor rig for performance - and you can use DVI monitors with it.

  • Friends:

Would multi-monitors with the use of USB give sufficient graphics for stock market trading?

    Please respond.

    Thank you.

  • It should..

  • cool

  • That's awesome! Drivers for Linux available?

  • oooo play 6 different games at once XD

  • i have two 22's

  • I never have seen those very small shelves,. That is great. Instead of building shelves from the wall. so much easier.

  • I ment that I like to have FullHD monitor instead of the one I have and not another one so that makes two monitors. I need only one.

And no, I don't waste energy because I can't pay it. I even use LED lighting in my room to save energy. LED lighting reduces the energy usage for lighting up to 90%.

I think you are one of those who will never understand the problem with wasting energy.

I stop replying in here because this wastes my time also.

    Have a nice day everybody.

  • Using so many monitors is excusable only for science purposes may be. Otherwise it is only waste of space, time for installing and last but not least waste of energy.

  • What about the dough lol

  • smstudiobg is jealous haha

  • I'm not. I have monitor with the size I need. You just don't understand what I've said. Still most of the Americans don't understand that wasting energy is not good. The same is for wasting money. Hope you realize the problem some day. There is too much people on this planet and they use too much resources which won't last forever.

  • Too many people, too many resources.

Gotta get your grammar right if you're trying to argue. :)

  • just means ,you dont do that much on your pc ,that needs more then one screen so stay with one screen, but if you are like us and work god, trust me you need more then 1 screen its a god send i get my work done quicker and i turn the pc off more quick

  • You are right. Sometimes someone needs more space. Now I'm working with a software called LabView which uses lots of windows and it's really good to have two monitors, so you can save time and be more productive. But at home I can deal with only one monitor.

As I said before, using two monitors when you really need it is OK, but using them just to show off in front of your friends for example is stupid.

  • agreed myself i am using a tri monitor setup for work(would never use it for gaming at the moment to be honest),single screen laptop for when i am out and about and single 22 inch sceen for my xbox and home pc(web brosweing movies, gaming etc)

  • hey do you know labview 7.1? i need help with it and the nxt program

  • I am working with LabVIEW 8.5 right now. Please contact me via PM. At least I can try to help you with your problem.

  • To: Sm Studiobg.

Friend: Using two monitors in this era of computing is not really a big thing even if you do think that you are cool and showing off. There is no harm done since may computers come with dual-headed graphics cards and the cost of monitors have dramatically decreased.

    Good day.

  • Of course you can use dual graphics. If you are not a gamer you just need dual output of your single graphics card. And yes, the price of TFT monitors is now really low. But a second monitor still consumes energy, so if you don't really need one you just don't have to buy it. And if you already have two monitors you can turn off one if you don't use it let's say for more than hour or two.

    Good day :)

  • doesn't need to have all screens the same size but it's good to

  • isnt that the music from cranky geeks, but slower?

  • connected via usb? i use vga and i can't see a usb port on my monitors someone please explain

  • ... the video card connect into a usb than transform the signal into video signal for the monitors. Basicaly, that's how it work. No go to bed, you have learn more than enough for today

  • Its fine for anything that does not require high speed fps. They will max out at about 30 fps and will also have more delay. Also the processor overhead would be much higher on the CPU as the graphics processor won't be doing the calculations.

It has its uses, but not for a dedicated used monitor.

    Fayik123,

No need for SLI, just stick both cards in, you can run 4 if you have 4 ports.

  • will a sli setup allow me to run 4 monitors? When enabling and disabling sli in the nvidia control panel, when i disable sli link up mode will the disabled card no longer be using extra power(watts) and save electric. SO when i disable sli when i dont need it will it no longer be drawing the extra electric and save electric bills. THe only rean i am considering sli is so i can run 3-4 monitors. COuld i run any cheap nvidia card with my 8800 gts 512 with no problems.

  • How you connect the monitors up with usb? my monitors don't have usb ports O.o

  • shops will use it lol

  • great for day trading!

  • LOL!

  • cool but come on that is so useless ecept for a few special cases

  • 0_0 All Samsungs and LGs. That's a real nice setup right there.
