  • greetings from orthodox philippines

  • является то, что молодые пению детей?

  • Nice singing! Yet, it's not an Old Slavonic, but a hopeless Russian language that is sung there?! ...just a normal modern day Russian language :)

  • greetings from orthodox Serbia!

  • Велик Господъ и Велика Его Сила!!!

  • Beautiful hymn :)

    Merry Christmas.

  • they're singing too fast

  • The song "Pure Virgin - Rosemary is a non-functional hymn composed by St. Nektarios of Aegina in the 19th century, during his tenure as director of the Theological School at Athens Rizario.

The tradition says the Virgin Mary to appear before the St. Nektarios of Aegina in the convent, and asks him to record on paper a special hymn, where angelic choirs were ready to sing. This hymn was "Pure Virgin - Despina."

  • o Deipara intemerata,

tuttabeata e madre del nostro Dio,

    più bella dei Cherubini,

ed infinitamente più gloriosa dei Serafini,

tu che hai partorito il Verbo Dio,

    o Deipara Te Magnifichiamo.

    CPACI I SOVRAHIE

  • Please, does anyone has the lyrics?

  • Se perciben muy buenos sentimientos , ( welcome to neuronaluniverse)

  • Christianity is perversion of Slavic Vedic ("pagan") Christianity of Krsna or Hrstna or Kolada... the second name was Hors (Horus) - Xopc = also Svetovid in material realm...

In Tsarigrad(=modern Istambul) was standing Slavic Orthodox Vedic (pre Biblical) Church, that was destroyed after tyran Isaak Angelos, when he execuded Slavic Byzantium "pagan" emperor Andronikos Komnin. (he also became "new Christ" ) and Slavic Orthodox Church was compiled to Semitic (Osirian - Egyptian Coptic) christ...

  • @VendPrekmurec

you got it! EVEN THE PAGANS BELIEVED THE SAME THINGS AS US!!! :D

    halleluja!

i know all this... ^^ and i tell you the reason why all this is like that:

“I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts."

the people always knew that there is the god...but the wey didnt know him... :)

stop "eating shit" like we would say here. start reading normal books and learn things which are important for life. you got nothing if you waist your time bashing christians. and as you can see. all this you mention here SUPPORTS our believe.

  • @VendPrekmurec

Horus? So Slavs are actually Egyptians?

    Stop smoking :P

  • @FraggingBard no the problem is that "HORUS" was not original Egyptian deity at all... Heru was Slavic Vedic (pagan is a mockery) "god" of material world Hors or Horo. is second name is Svetovid ("The all seeing one" - the eye of Horus; which became part of Osirianism and modern Yahwism). Horus was Slavic Aryan White (non semitic) god... Egypt, before Egypt was Aryan Chaldean province. And old Chaldeans were Slavs, yes, before arrival of semites.

Slavic is still closest language to Sanskrit

  • @VendPrekmurec

I like Shining, good band. Has an alto sax. :D

Do you have any sources for that barring the language? Language mutates overnight, slang for instance. Fag in Britain is a cigarette, in the USA is a homosexual. So saying "This language now is the closest to that old one" doesn't really mean that much.

I saw a similar theory about how we're all actually Mandarin. They couldn't back it up either, can you? The only thing I can find relating to that is a religion founded in 1904

  • Comment removed

  • @VendPrekmurec

Semite? Haha. Nice. But no, I'm not Jewish or Arabic. That I know of anyway. So Pharohs were white aryans and the rest of the people there were arabs.. That fits with a movie I've seen, nothing else I've been told?

History based on the Torah because there's a TOR in it?

You're either high or a genius who no-one listens to.

I'm not betting on the latter mate

  • @FraggingBard original Sumerian (Chaldean) and Egyptian history did not start with 3600 with Menes and cult of Osiris, but with cca 33 000 Bc (chaldea) and cca 24 000 Bc (egypt as chaldean province). Old Chaldeans were Shivaits (language was close to Slavic and Sanskrit); Berosus gives exact list Antediluvian dynasties of Chaldean Aryan kings as gives Manetho... Berosus's real name was Veras or Veros (runic V became B in greek) and means "Great Rasen" (etruscan);

  • @VendPrekmurec

Berossos, that's useful, a name gives me something to work with. How do you get Naga to Naked though?

  • @FraggingBard because Bible is Book of Books...(literally)

it all came from "pagan" or better said Vedic Brahmanic teachings, before somebody translated whole "stuff" into Anti Brahmanic and became - A'brahamic. Abrahamic teaching is about Original sin and created ones...

as opposite doctrine to Aryan teaching of Born ones(like is Kama Sutra)

Abraham was cast out from SARAswati India where also 1. Vedas were brought to...

  • @FraggingBard Berossos was Chaldean priest of Ba'al. But Baal was simply called Vaal or Vool (Vul - Bull) or Veles,...

  • @FraggingBard Berosus is Veros (Veliki Ros - "rus" is modern name) + greek addition as "os"

  • Comment removed

  • @FraggingBard that's why is YHWH(svarga) a second name of Sphinx; which was old Aryan deity... predates "Great Flood" in cca 12 000 Bc, that Semites started to call "God" or "unknown name of god" or "forbidden name of god"- They have changed it into that they do not understand even today...

  • @VendPrekmurec

YHWH is a Jewish term for "God", Never seen it used in relation to the Sphinx. :S Or anything else really, not with that particular sequence of letters.

  • Comment removed

  • @FraggingBard Read Flavius Manetho if you want to know who were in reality "jews" and who was in reality "Moses"...

  • @VendPrekmurec The real Moses was Charlton Heston. duh!

  • @FraggingBard this has indeed nothing to do with hisTORy (stories based on 1.Torah - Leningrad Codex from 11th century AD ) but with Vedic real history

  • @FraggingBard 2:22 Is this hand gesture / symbol Jewish/Christian?

  • @VendPrekmurec

No, the hand symbol is not Christian based. But that's assuming there's no overlap from religions. To go so far as to say that Egypt, along with India. was actually founded and ruled by Slavs is a bit much though, no? Not that I have anything against that, have a few Slavic nationalities in my family tree, unfortunately just out of reach of citizenship, but close enough to know all about it.

  • Church slavonic a language which derives from old church slavonic (old bulgarian). The church slavonic keeps the grammar rules of old church slavonic, but some russian words are imported, so the russians can understand it better. It's not that big difference at all and we should not make a problem out of it.

  • "In the world ye shall suffer tribulation; but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world..." ~The Son of Man

  • I have been gifted by the Lord in the fact that I will be able to study this wonderful language next year in collage ; It is Old Church Slavonic, it is to Russian what Latin is to say Italian.

  • It`s old Slavonic languae not Russian! It`s protoplastic language for that nations like Russian, Ukrainian, Poles, Czech, Slovakian and some balkan east Slavonic. I`am form Poland and in my villeage Radruż is Church from XVI c. with inscriptions in old Slavonic. People which build that Church come here from Wallachia at medium medieval ages so old Slavonic was language of majority of Slavonic people not only Russians. God bless You ;)

  • @ZarembaPrzemek :) wallachians are not slavonic people and they does exists. They are romanians :)

    sorry for my english

  • @ciorab :) that were settlement FROM Wallachia territory it was at medieval times so things are more complicated than we think now ;) sory form my english too ;))))

  • @ZarembaPrzemek how can I explain to you that wallachians are romanians? The difference is thatstrangers called us wallachians but we called and are calling us till now - romanians.

  • @ciorab

Wallachians are truly Romanians! Greetings from Romania to all our Wallachian (Aramani) brothers from Macedonia, Pindu Mountains, Timoc valley and whereever they are scattered in Balkan peninsula. We the Romanians are alongside Greeks the true desdendents of the Byzantine Empire - the byzantines have always called themselves "Romeikos" which means "Romans". The Romanian language is the only Latin language in south-estern Europe.

  • @kostavlahul and I say something different?

  • @ciorab Indeed you said the same thing. You said the truth. You are a honest person.

  • Beautiful. I just wish the distortion in the audio quality wasn't present.

  • Ce ne staroslovjanśka mova, a tupo moskaĺśka. Ne treba psuvaty pravoslavja vašym moskaĺstvom

It is not the Old Slavonic, It is Moskovitian. Don`t destroy Orthodox Church with your moskalism

  • this is not old slavonic , this is russian language ... modern day russian language ...

  • @neznammm11 You're wrong.

This is exactly what we call ‘Church Slavic’ i.e. old Slavonic language brought to us buy Saints Cyrillos and Methodios in the 9th century.

Mixing the verbal Slavonic with the Greek grammar for new language they created an alphabet and translated the Holly Scripture to this new language directly from Greek, just like it was translated from Greek to Latin.

But this new language allowed them to make a translation of more high accuracy then to Latin.

  • @neznammm11 eeee glup bosanec

  • Très bonne interprétation de ce chant. Au monastère où j'ai connu ce chant, les moniales le chantent en français. Je ne connais pas d'enregistrement en français de ce chant sur you tube. Si quelqu'un peut me donner une référence.

    Merci

  • Interesting

    Very good video!

  • Song is beautiful for MOM. The words are worthy to MOM. When I's a kid, mom used to sing lullaby to me. I thought of mom, her songs and happily slept. Now, I hear you singing Agni Partene, I think of MOM, MOM'S Descriptions and I'm very sleepy like a kid. This song magically makes me sleepier than any MOM'S song. I can sleep quicker and have sweet dream of MOM and all Orthodox Faithful, Who lullaby me. I'm so happy I can share MOM'S Love with you. I love you and always remember you in my memory.

  • Prelepo prosto se dusa odmara uz ovu muziku.

  • @forcecoder76 If I may say a thing or two, actually this old Church Slavic language is not entirely new, it evolved from late protoslavic thesalonian ( solunian) dialect- which was most probably spoken in hometown of Saint Cyrill and Saint Methodius in Thesalonike ( so called Thesolonian slavic language.)

  • Peace to all of the holy Church in whole world and all her faithful children.

  • @jikozy serbs too!

  • @jikozy didnt take them very long to abandon it in USSR

  • @iBox87 it was not abandoned; it was taken underground as in the beginning :)

  • @vladdrac88 your right there many faithful russian people, but to say that russians are the most faithful is ironic, was it the soviets blowing up othodox churches for the past 70years

  • @iBox87 exactly! that's why they are the most faithfull because they suffered the most! so, as ironic as it seems to you, as clear it seems to me. Alexandr Soljenitin explains in Gulag Archipelag how it is possible a rebirth of ortodoxy in communists prison; he also become christian during his time in prison.

  • @17bonaventure anyone who supports soviet union is anti-orthodox , most russians support soviet union, also how does putin go from athiest during communist times to, super duper orthodox today.

  • @iBox87 I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing...

  • @jikozy

don't you like this music which is much more earlier then the Russian? It is also orthodox music.

  • @jikozy

    Come to Georgia.

    You are welcome.

  • St. Marry is a mother of God nature of Jesus.

    Are You protestants?

  • Why, then, did St. Elizabeth hail the Virgin as the "Mother of My Lord?" If God did not become man and was born of a woman, we would not have been saved. Be careful.

  • I have written copies of this hymn in Greek, English and Russianbut I am searching for the written text in Romanian so that we might sing it for our parishioners after services on Sunday. I know that there is also an Arabic textbut I a need your help with pronunciation. Thanks you!

  • Why should Orthodox Christians be always disunited for political or ethnic reasons? We have the same faith, let us stay together in our common love of God, His Holy Mother and all His saints and angels. With love from Russia.

  • You have right, we all are one nation in Ortodox Church but not all russians think like you. God bless you brate :)!

  • FanatikosKafetzis this is Orthodox video for our mother Marija, its not politic. Please stop with coments that expand misprison.

    Пресвета Богородици спаси нас

  • Отличная музыка. Божественная.

  • I really love Agni Parthene, which describes Mom's Personality. It is magically sung with wonderful voices. I am learning how to praise Mom in Old Slavonic language. I feel being happier in doing so, because to praise Mom in many languages is like to give Mom a great bunch of Flowers from my mind in this Mother's Day. May Dad be Blessed and Glorified, Who has given me so Precious Mom to care for my body and soul. Thanks to orthodox3217 and YouTube, who assist me to have such a wonderful thought.

  • . . . absolutely pure (bearing in mind that the truth spoken without compassion has the nature of heresy) then who could be counted among the Orthodox? Even the most venerable of the Holy Fathers were wrong on a few minor points of doctrine. For example, most of the Orthodox believe the doctrine of universal salvation (that all shall be saved in the end, even Satan) to be a heresy, yet it was believed by St. Gregory of Nyssa to whom we owe, in part, the doctrine of the Holy Trinity!

  • In the days of the Church Fathers only a heresy pertaining to the nature of the Holy and Undivided Trinity or of the relation of Christ's humanity and divinity could cause one to be divided from the Church. The present schisms of the Church rest on heresies of a much more minor order, regarding the role of the Patriarch of Rome, how it is that Mary became Theotokos and so on . . . No one should waver one true doctrine for the sake of unity, but if we admit none whose doctrine is not . . .

  • That ecumenism is the false prophet, the antichrist and the devil, all together, i could say.

First ecumenism in christians and then ecumenism in all the others religions.

    That is the devil`s plan:

    "His one religion"

No need to say anything else, brother, you said it all.

  • Christ is risen!

Thank you for your words, brother!

  • Beautiful! =D

  • God bless you brother for your work.

Бог те благословио за твоја дела брате.

  • Ortho= correct, upright, upstanding, right one.

    doxa=believe.

The Apostles were orthodox because were spreading the word of God that had the truth in it !!!!

  • "Agni Parthene (Gr. ?'γνή Παρθένε) is a non-liturgical hymn composed in Greek by St. Nectarios of Aegina in the 19th century during his tenure as director of the Rizarios Theological School of Athens.... The tradition passed down at the monastery of St. Nektarios, in Aegina, Greece, is that the Lady herself appeared before him and requested that he record on paper a particular hymn the angelic choirs were about to sing. This hymn was the "Agni Parthene".

  • Love and blessing to all our ortodox brothers in the whole world from Romania

  • Greetings from Illinois! :) God save and protect all His Holy Orthodox Church.

  • Greetings From ROMANIA. Peace to all my orthodox broathers and the world too.

  • Macedonians are Greeks. The slaves became cristians much later by the patriarcate of Konstantinopole. The monks Methodios and Kyrilos were the ones that spread Cristianity to the slavic nations Rusians Serbians Bulgarians there is not macedonian nation. Propubly you mean Bulgarians. The Slavomacedonians are Bulgarians, they speak Bulgarian

  • no It was the Apostle that spread Christianity to the slavic nations and Russian

  • Methodios and Kyrilos spread the Orthodoxism not the Christiantity. Christianity, as someone else said, it was spread by the Apostles. Orthodixsm is not the default definition for Christianity. Apostles were not Orthodox. ALL Christians, regardless of thgeir religion, are believrs in Christ and the Trinity. We are ALL united in Christ.

  • By differing believes of Christ you believe in a different Christ, as a pagan believes in a different God because of his comprehension of God. Return to the victorious faith of the apostles and the body of Christ which the gates of hades shall not endeavour!

  • Would it not be better if all christians, no matter the kind, unified and tried to work against atheism and islam and such heathens?

I have absolute nothing against katholics or ortodox ppl.

    // A scandinavian Lutheran.

Ps. may god bless you =)

  • Yes, I have nothing against co-operation between christians to fight secularism, poverty nad injustice, but in matters of doctrine, the Orthodox can not and will not accept any other christs or churches but the very Christ and the very Church.

  • kokutzu... i disagree... of course st. kyrilos and methodios spread the christianity... since they've done that in 863AD. as you maybe know, rome patriarchate separated from constantinople, alexandria, antioch and jerusalem patriarchates in 1054AD and became 'roman catholic'.... other patriarchates are also 'catholic' in the original meaning of that greek word, but not 'roman'... those 4 are usualy named 'orthodox', but essentially we consider ourselves as christians, of course

  • We all ALLequal in the eysof our Lord. It's possible that some people missunderstood my statement. I am not judging anyone. All I am saying that Orthodoxism is beautiful in the eyes of the Lord, as it is the Catholicism, Evangelists, they ALL are Christians, once they believe in Christ and Trinity. God will not judge us by our religion, but by our relationship with Jesus and our fruits. By their fruits you shall know them, says the Bible. I am glad that you are a Christian.

  • God bless all CHRISTIANS for united WE are stronger.

  • I am an antisyncretist, ORTHODOXY FOR EVER AND EVER

  • САЧУВАЈ БОЖЕ СВЕ ПРАВОСЛАВНЕ!

  • ..God bless and preserve ALL orthodox Christians and grant them victory from all their adversaries throughout the world!!...

  • Bless to all ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN!!!

    Greetings from Bulgarian Orthodox brother!!!

  • God BLESS all ORTHODOX NATIONS!!!

  • the language most full of old slavonic words besides the bulgarian is the russian now. I can understand 90% of old slavonic texts (especially the church slavonic) thougt I didnt learn it. It's like russian with some archaic moments.

  • God bless you wonderful video. The song is very beautiful.

  • wonderful ,thank you so much!

  • An ecumenical greeting from a western catholic. I love Byzantine chants also.

  • Same here, the greek version is my favorite videos. It has actually made me cry many times.

  • the greek version is amazing. I teared the first time i heard it. it was beautiful.

  • divine song!

  • very beautiful!!

  • Church slavonic language, but

Russian redaction of it, also sung by Russian chorus, but nonetheless beautiful song on a beautiful language

  • Slavonica is verry beautiful and romanians used in middle age also.

  • actually, i don't know exactly.... but i'm russian and i can understand each word from this song

  • actually, i don't know exactly.... but i'm russian and i can understand each word from this song

  • Old Slavonic =Old Macedonian

Old Slavonic Chuch = Old Russian :)) ???

    But, Ok

  • no i think Old Slavonic is Old Bulgarian ;)

  • somebody talking similar to old slavonic is Macedonian ...

Powiadają że język starosłowianski jest podobny do dzisiejszego Macedońskiego.

  • I view old slavonic as like the latin of the slavic languages, you can find traces of the old slavonic in all slavic languages, but it is definately centalised within Bulgarija, Makedonija and Srbija.

  • "you can find traces of the old slavonic in all slavic languages"

I know it :)) Polish is my native language , and if I go to Slovakia or Bellarussia I can easy talk with Slovvakian , Bellarussian etc. in Polish . Wiem Polski jest moim naturalnym językiem i mogę z łatwością rozmawiać z Słowakami , Czechami , Białorusinami itd. po polsku - i doskonale się rozumiemy .
