It's actually a pretty good anime, as long as you're watching the Japanese version. It's English version is dubbed by 4kids, so it's pretty nonsensical. I enjoyed it a lot, to be honest. I just wish they hadn't cancelled it in America. If they hadn't, I would have the DVDs, just to watch it in Japanese. You should watch it.

If you look at that episode, your gonna find that Falcon and Black Shadow were caught in the explosion of Black Shadow's machine and this is why there's a big explosion. The falcon punch is only a punch in the face. Sorry to ruin everything, but you have to look closely, the falcon punch has no effects whatsoever, therefore it's even less effective than in SSB.
