I love watching these two,physically he seemed a bit outdated and overdue but the strenght,the style,the move,the groove,the class and the pizazzz are still there.His partner doesen't seemed to care,she's absolutely a gorgious gorgious woman,they compliment each other well.

This was beautiful. Makes me happy. I'm convinced that John Sergeant's hasty departure in 2008 is what has damaged Strictly's ratings in 2009. When the public sees that no matter how much it votes, it doesn't get what it wants, what's the point? Yes, I'm aware of the long-running, deep-seated argument about whether Strictly is a dance show or an entertainment show. I happen to think it's both and, in John Sergeant's case, I much enjoyed his spirit and entertainment (and Krystyna's choreography).

- phone vote: to integrate audience and generate money for charity

- celebrities who are past prime of life: practical reasons (not enough younger celebrities willing to do it), to make it more interesting

- well seeing as it's a dancing show a lot of people who dance/know about dancing probably watch it so therefore they'd be able to tell. + it was pretty obvious John wssn't as good as the others.

Cherie Longhi is in her 50's and has done extremely well because she actually took it seriously and learned all the steps. Mathematically,his popularity with the voting public gets more of an issue as the no.of competitors reduces. His 1 pt from the judges becomes a bigger no.each week. To get him out the judges should give the lesser dancers exactly the same score so the gap between his 1 and the next is increased, i.e the best gets 8, then 7 then all the others except him get 6. This is unlikely to happen and its the transfer vote of the eliminated couple that will decide who goes out next, probably not Sargeant

I wondered, why is John Sargent still in the competition and this clip is rather beautiful and the music is so tender, the splits step was worth watching again and again, its so balletic. I would like to think John Sargent loved every minute, of this dance, I did! I only hope Kristina is on the next show, she is a wonderful dancer, then again they all are.
