Look for a rescue or shelter for your piggy. NOT a breeder or pet store. Do NOT enable these irresponsible people that breed extra lives into the world when there are so many unwanted pets looking for love at shelters and rescues!
@Crazy4Cavies When i was reading that i was like really? then i saw that they're in the UK, makes sence most pet stores in america have way to small cages bad ventilation etc. I doubt they're in america

@RisingDampChamp Yeah, well, they just bring out the weird voices in me... The peruvians are sooooo cute and great pets. You just have to keep cutting their hair around their butt as they get older. It just keep growing.
If you want a Peruvian Guinea pig look for one using PetFinder . com thats where I got mine. You can rescue a guinea pig and chances are it will be healthier.
Petsmart gets their guinea pigs from a company that breeds animals in horrible conditions. Most of the animals are sick and will not live long because it is cheaper for them to breed more instead of taking them to the vet. You can look it up on youtube.

actually got them both in a pet store, Phoebe at Petsmart - she's still with me. Nyah was bought at Petco - she died before her 2nd b/day.
It's not really good to get them in a pet store - as they really are not always that healthy - as I found out with Nyah.
Look around your area on the internet for Peruvian guinea pigs. There may be a breeder in your area.
