@jyankeesrock Completely different artistic approaches to playing the guitar, dude. John Frusciante is masterful when it comes to minimalistic music (personally, I think he has a lot more range in styles than Satriani) while still being able to bust out some technical stuff when needed, but in terms of this kind of music and just technicality in general, Frusciante has NOTHING on Satriani. Let's just leave it at the fact that they're both absolute masters in their respective guitar fields.
