Why do mac owners keep on suggesting we just get a mac? Its pretty annoying, if you're not going to be putting a osx86 on your PC then why are you even watching this? So much Mac users dual boot Windows with Mac together so why can't us Windows folks do the same in peace? For the most case most people using osx86 can't afford Mac itself and that's why we are trying this!

I have DV6000 name written on top of the led , but under the laptop it's written as DV6620EE

I downloaded DV6000 drivers for Vista didn't work , but I diwnloaded DV6620EE for vista and it worked , do u have DV6620EE drivers for MAC?

Ya I know but Apple.Inc created the OS and other people should not be stealing it or hacking it. Why don't people just buy Apple computers they are so much better then other brands. They are also very good for the environment so buy Apple computers with help this planet also.

I, myself have like 4 Macs, I am getting an HP Pavillion DV6000.

I have a legal copy of Mac OS X Leopard, and the Snow Leopard family pack.

By your logic, I should be thrown in prison because I have installed a legally obtained copy on a PC as an experement.

But I'm a terrible pirate xD, they'll find thousands more reasons on my hard drive to put me in prison anyway xD

i tried to get osx to work on my dv9000 and it didnt work, i got as far as having it installed, but on boot up it would just forever stay on the Grey loading screen...

please let me know how in the world u got this to work cuz i thought the dv9000 couldnt do it!

I also have an HP computer, but for some reason, after I install it, my computer won't boot. I think it said some message about "insert startup disk" or "startup disk not found" I'm trying to dual boot Vista and os x. Did you have this problem? what am i doing wrong?

Make sure that your boot partition is set to active. (windows-partition in most cases)

u make two partitions on ur harddrive: one for leopard, and one for windows. first u install leopard, then u install windows on a different partition. then when leopard shows u the os selection screen, choose leopard to boot into mac and choose foreign os to boot into windows. there ya go! it's that simple...i hope :)
