All proposals need to be dumped! All the rules and regs are put on insurance companies, which will increase the premiums, not lower them! Price controls on doctors and hospitals need to be put in place - it is the ONLY way to keep control of the runway costs. When a surgeon bills $90,000 for a few hours of work there is something very wrong with our system. A cancer center claims to "care" for their patients but needs $250,000 up front to start the "care" - who do they REALLY care about??
