@peteypete1984 FL is good for sampling. im proud to see a lot of younger cats are using simple shit like FL as opposed to trying to hide behind big softsynths and whack ass soulless logic presets. samples a sample dont matter how you hook it up just make it bounce! i feel yo tho
@FKRAPCITY I Think Hardware (MPC's SP's Etc.) Is Better Than Software (FL Logic Reason). I Think You Get More Feeling And Soul Out Of Producing With Hardware. Its More Human. Software Is All Quantized In One Way Or Another, More Machine.

@lorezapocalypse yeah reason it doesnt have the knock is because mp3 use psychoacoustics to save data which happens to mean frequencies we dont hear...but because of that you cant feel it as much as the low end and the upper mid range doesnt have the same amount of vibrations to it....anyways guys nowadays just stack 808's to get something close to the same feel.
@BorrieBeats I don't know anything about that technical stuff, all I know is what my ears tell me. It is also more than just the frequencies. Sometimes when I am using VSTi synths I run them through a cassette tape or if I want less tape distortion a VHS tape so they match up with the vinyl samples more. Digital sounds, mp3 or not are just so fucking clean. Its like when you see a CGI monster in the movies. It looks real, but something is off. There is no dirt on it.

Yeah, these LPs are tight. The Master Drummer series was a dope tool for beat heads. Purdie's Vol. 2 is a bit rare to come by these days.
