That's afterburner. It happens when you have the throttle pushed all the way forward (full military power). If you don't have that, then the effects for the aircraft are missing,

Well, I can clearly see that the setting at which "robbonline" plays FSX is Full HD, but the bad editing/recording software he is using (whichever it might be), doesn't make the best out of it...

@robbonline Get a copy of Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas, Render the Files as an uncompressed .avi and then run it through DivX's converter on "DivX Plus HD mode".

You then have a beautiful HD .mkv clip that is already encoded in Youtube's natural HD codec, that way it can't screw the clip up and you'll get a very good quality on here.

Bad quality, and defo not 1080p, if it is it's rendered completely wrong. Youtube has two options now, one for 720p and one for 1080p if it has both it would show in the HD menu.

ive just bought the little brother to this gfx card, £250 inc delivery on ebay and other sites, brand new, HD4850 X2. If you want this card, its slightly better performance but alot more. aslong as you have a fairly good system already, all u need to do is change the gfx card.

Hey, for better FPS results, try turning bloom off. It slowed down my pc alot, but when i turned it off, i got a 20 fps increase.( 25-30 fps before, 50-60 fps after)
