@underdog353777 Well, you only need 3 or 4 stickies to blow up a sentry + engie anyway, and it's very rare for an engie to destroy stickies faster than a demo can place them.

0:11 spawn doors split in two , probably changed it cause the enemy would spam the small exit door also 00:48 no roof on the bridge , maybe they added this cause snipers had a major advantage , also gives scouts a chance to get onto the sniper deck , 2:39 the demomans cluster bomb , hope they add this to the demo archivement .

This video is a classic. As a long time TFC and TF2 player, I love to watch the early stages of development for TF2 and see all of the ideas they had.

I especially liked the demoman's TNT and the scout's nail gun, I wish they hadn't thrown out the nail gun at all.

if you look at the OLD team fortress pics with the whole team together, the scout has the snipers smg, and the spy has a a silver gun. if you look through the texture files in tf2, you can find the silver gun, which is called a tranqualizer, and a the nailgun, which is what it is called.

If you have both Garry's Mod and TF2, you can see that they were originally going to include practically all the TFC weapons, but decided to cut down on them instead (especially the grenades). There's untextured models of the dynamite, grenades, nail gun, and the syringe from the first TF2 trailer all in the game files.

For those who don't know, the Scout has a nailgun in it's hand and its still in the game source ;)

Also there are still models (incl. animations) and textures in the source files of the turrets, probably from the hl1 engine days, cause it's all lowres.

And not to forget, a beartrap is also in the source files :|

some times, it depends on what class gets shot and how much "power" the sniper rifle is charged with. A heavy has alot more HP than a Scout or Spy for example.

the tnt mirv was taken out because more people wanted the sticky bomb launcher.

The gun the scout has is the nail gun but they took it out because that is pretty much what the medic has and it made the scout too weak

The visuals arent just a little better, their alot better. Just look at gamesd like Gears of War, Mass Effect, Resistance, Dirt, PGR3, Motorstorm and Oblivion. They look way better than last gen. And PS3 and Xbox 360 can use technology like the Euphoria engine and the Natural Motion engine that the Wii and last gen consoles couldn't.

That's the games, not the systems. I've played Call of Duty 3 on both the Wii and the 360, and the difference in graphics quality is hardly noticable. Between system generations, the graphics quality does change significantly, but not nearly enough to be worth it. I've played COD2 on XBox, and sure, COD3 on 360 has better graphics, but the gameplay is basically the same.

Slightly better defined graphics? I can't believe it! Let's spend $400 to see these slightly better defined graphics!
