Here is an excellent example of how U.S. talking heads are failing us. While this happened on Fox, it could have just as well happened on any other corporate "news" outlet. Nelson was allowed to falsely claim that 60 votes are required to pass a Senate bill, while in fact, 50 would be enough, assuming the VP would add his tie-breaking vote thereto, giving them 51. Nelson knows this, but as a corporate whore, he's willing to lie to the populace & the bobble-head is too dim to challenge him.

that number is growing as people are realizing that Republicans are owned by the insurance companies which is why they want no real healthcare reform other than making doctors above the law (tort reform).

Americas healthcare system is a joke & every other industrialized nation has better healthcare, satifaction ratings, infant mortality rates, & much better access to preventive care.
