Nice video. When I had my wisdom teeth removed they gave me nitrous oxide and novocain. They let me listen to a CD player as they were doing the procedure. I had only 3 teeth out and I got to miss a day of school (I was repeating 12th grade back then ;))

i have a high pain threshold... getting tattoos is nothing to me, they actually tickle a little but hahaha..... But dental work gives me the heebie jeebies.... im soo petrified of the thought of geting my wisdom teeth extracted. i need to have all 4 taken out -cries-

Mate stick with it, the pain is worth it rather than going with the pain for months, I got two removed lately after taking 2 months of unnecessary pain and it was not that painful, especially like you say you have a high pain threshhold- in the early stages make sure that you take a good amount of pain killers

---- Oh i just got mine out today, I don't even remember falling asleep or even getting a bit woozy. I just remember waking up in another room when it was all done.

The worst part for me was definitely the needle, it hurt reeeeally bad. But my mouth is still numb right now and it's not too bad - I've got some JELL-O setting in the fridge, so I'll be having some soon :)

Oh...so that's the thing they put on my nose (the nitrous)...I thought it was some kind of fresh air. I was only half asleep when they pulled all four of my teeth out though...i can feel my surgeon stitching and yanking them hahah! but no pain at all though. I went to costco with my mom to get some yogurt...and then after that I went at&t store to check out the new iPhone 3GS!!hahah it was painless for some reason even when da numbness was gone. i'm in day 2 and there's still no swelling/pain.

it was fun. all 4 of mine healed today. I can eat normal food again. no swelling or bleeding at all hahah!! just eat tons of YOGURT and milk for 5 days! haha u'll lose weight but that's ok xD

why do you mean you mean vomit? if the blood is coming out of your mouth and not from esophagus, thats normal. usually the healing takes at least a week or two. just follow whatever the doctor says and everything will be normal. :D

ye its all normal cuz the tooth was attached to ur jaw and the stitches dont make it air tight so blood can leek and by the taste u vomit

It depends on the individual , the density of your bone and the root structure. The tops come out a lot easier than the bottoms , I can tell you that much. The dentist had this power tool he called the hand piece and it sounded like a Bobcat Angle Grinder. Although I was numbed up it felt like he was sawing away my lower jaw to get them out. Have fun when it's your turn. ROFLMAO

I would get them out anyway. Wisdom teeth are not very strong teeth and will chip and crack as you get older. My dad had to get his out when he was 42 because they were all cracked and it was a very long and painful procedure. The dentist told him the older you are the deeper those roots get seated in the jaw. Do it while your young yank.

i got 800 miligrams of ibprofin. but for the procedure they gave me verset and laughing gass and then they gave me novicane. so all ifelt was pressure. and i only needed two stiches for the bottom wisdom teeth i had all four out at the same time.
