the display on ur mpc60 is very clear & well-illuminated for dark/dim lighting. i´d wish mine 3K could also be operated in low-light circumstances. maybe there´s need to fix the display..it is visible in daylight just Ok (with the backlight pushed on;contrast at 3 o´clock)but would also like to use the 3K at night..
@JMJarvinenStudio you can change the backlight quite easy, and its quite cheap too. if you havnt done it yet i can give you a link where u can order a new backlight for something like 20 bucks...peace Marc

i have been jammin with synth for years now; like to mess ´round with electronic sounds & music. i got me mpc3000 for ´bout a month a go & lovin it :) ! got it actually by a change; t´was for sale on marktplaats, fully functioning AND low-price-y for what I´d expect the mpc-classics (60&3000) to be.
thanx mate, i was lucky enough to get the nord with the voice expansion :). we had so much fun with the mpc that we are thinking about getting an additional mpc2k to go along with the good old 60....
