People like this are most certainly not everywhere. Malaysia just has more rude and uncivilised people than any other country. Dont beleive me, take the Readers Digests word for it. They polled Malaysians as the rudest people on earth in 2006. The "truly asia" logo is an insult to the great indonesian, singaporean, thai ,pakistani,bangladeshi,chinese and phillipino people who are actually more often than not very warm and decent.
