Ok i'm using KDE 4.3.1 right now,the only thing i do not understand is:why so much work and resources on nepomuk??I know many thinks the "semantic desktop" is the future of computing(??) but not all the pc users will like these functions...tagging and rating...really useless...

I don't use it hardly myself. Initially it does take up a fair amount of resources to index and tag everything, but after that, it should be pretty light.
