  • you have a creative mind .i never saw i flapping butterfly pop up card

  • You are AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWEEEEEESSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Out of curiosity,have you ever seen/designed a pure origami penguin pop-up card?please respond.

  • @musicmixer112 Yes I do recall designing a penguin Pop-up Card. It becomes 3-dimensional, but other than that, it doesn't do much. It's in some bag stuffed with origami somewhere up in the attic, probably never to be seen again... It would be easier for me to redesign it, and possibly more fruitful!

  • wow your talented jeremy :)

  • i cant do this but you are very talented

  • How old r u?

  • I love it but could you make more pop up stuff i really like those things

  • Well done Mr Shafer! Wonderful model! I may have a try at this! How do you go about designing models? I have been folding for about 30 years but am still no wiser to designing my own models. Love your book Astonish and Amuse too!

  • hi Jeremy, your origamis are amazing!! because of people like you that make instructional yt videos i'm now very good at origami and have begun to design my own models,! and i want to share them like you do in instructional videos soon!, some of my models are actually pretty complex (the tessellations), thank you so much for sharing your passion!.

  • I LOOOOVE YOUR VIDEOS ! KEEP EM GOIN !

  • i made it and my butterfly doesnt flap well

and i dont know what is wrong with it it flaps going down not going straight

  • You are awesome! And I must be to some degree as I've just folded the model!! :) Love your creations.

  • I am having trouble with the head. Can you help me?

  • I made it from a 14inch square too but it's noisy as yours in the video, but the 6inch one is silent. I made it for mother's birthday and she loved it

PS: I don't think it"s a hard model, simply it is a bit long time to fold it

  • its easy but its very nice

  • I have a question, um here it goes:

Lets say you want to make IDK a something (a new model).

How do you know how to fold it, where to fold, and what to do to get to the figure you want?

    -Julian

  • @jeremyshaferorigami I know You can make it... I mean You have designed it... just kidding..

  • how about more vids? u can make a tut for my action model in my channel

  • I wasn't paying enough attention when I watched first the video. I made it with a 15cm (6in) paper and the result is very tiny, but looks and works great, thanks for the tutorial :)

  • So so so amazing!!

  • @boazz82 Thanks Boaz!

  • What paper size would you recommend?

  • @LPeti1701 a 10-inch square is a nice size.

  • where do you get that big paper?

  • @Dawson2111 search the web.

  • @Dawson2111 Japan. but you can always paint a large square of paper.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami or in amazon i think

  • JEREMY CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE MR. SMILEY, I TRIED FOLLOWING THE DIGRAMS BUT IT JUST WONT WORK, THINGS GO WRONG IN STEP 48 WERE WE SEE HIS EYEBROWES BUT I DO EVERY THING RIGHT BUT I DONT SEE THE EYE BROWES, CAN YOU MAKE A TUTORIAL OR ATLEAST ON STEPS 43 TO THE END? PLEASE

  • i made it!!!!!

  • @randomrunescapeman1 Awesome! Post it in a video response!

  • This is an awesome design ! I loved the bat pop-up card, I'll love this butterfly !

  • @ZeOriS16 Thanks Samy!

  • all people who will dislike this video is because their paper will rip

  • @randomrunescapeman1 ...or because their folds are not precise enough.

  • coooool

  • @cocorigami thaaaaanks

  • Where do you get paper that big in those colors?

  • @tanner6197 I got it in Japan the last time I went. You could always paint the white side of a ten-inch sheet of regular kami.

  • Is your arm feeling better?

  • @Supergurl829 little by little (at least I keep telling myself). They say it takes about two months to heal... but for me probably longer since i don't have it in a cast. I need my wrist for my work, so I'm just trying to go easy on it.

  • this is very nice... a lot of work but it looks beautiful

    thanks for sharing!

  • @OldMiminha Ya it is kind of complex for a such a simple-looking model. Oh well, thanks for your comment.

  • Its not kami paper if its colored on both sides its duo. =)

    A reply would be awesome.

  • @rahrahrummummah it's "duo kami paper" that exists too!

  • @kiwication You took the words right out of my fingers!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami i must be a comment whisperer. (=

  • @rahrahrummummah it's "duo kami paper" ...that exists too!

  • @mohammag i am looking for a paper big enough to make... but i think i can make it...

  • @Maloriar I think I can I think I can!

  • how much time does origami oh la laa wwill take to get to israel? i just ordered it with origami odessy yesterday?

  • @mohammag I'd guess about 3 weeks, but really I don't know... that would be a question for amazon.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami i checked an it says in august 5th!

  • @yauboy123 yes you can...

  • @Maloriar Have You Ever Made The Original Flasher Hat?

  • Hi Jeremy!

I made the magic ball, do you think i can make this?

  • @yauboy123 Isn't the magic ball a modular? That's like comparing pineapples to persimmons.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami no, the magic ball designed by kade chan :D

  • @jeremyshaferorigami no, the magic ball designed by kad chan, by the way this model is awesome

  • you rock thumbs up

  • @643cube Thanks!

  • that is very cool and you explain it well but i think you have to really want it because i can't get my shit to turn out like yours........

  • @curbshoppin Patience grasshopper!.... Like I said... It's not an easy model. and like they say... practice makes perfect... oh and also, don't get in over your head (try some easier models).

  • thumbs up for jeremy to get better!

  • @origamimee98 I'll thumbs up to that too! Thanks origamimee98 and everyone for your get well wishes. Ya, A broken wrist was definitely not a good way to start my busy season!... On the bright side... it's forced me to innovate my act and find new ways to avoid having to use my left hand... like for example I've gotten more into sound effects.

  • Wow. Thank you Jeremy for teaching us your amazing models. You have such an imaginative mind to come up with beautiful models.

  • nice... cool

  • Great to that your arm is better!

  • @joeorigami1999 I wish! No... alas my wrist isn't better yet. This video was shot before I went to the doctor to get it checked. Since now I know that it's broken I'm wearing the brace a lot more... and folding a lot less!

  • Awesome Tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thejimi52 Thanks Orion!

  • that is sooo cool! by the way are you ever going to make a tutorial for the flasher labyrinth?

  • @kiwication Probably not, but I do plan on making one for the flasher hat as soon as my wrist gets better.

  • first
