You know the one thing I never really liked about films in the 90's are the pop covers of the love songs in the movie. But this one really hits home for me.

This, though sung pleasantly, is not sung with the emotion it calls for. This sounds too stagy, sung with too much showyness rather than the proper emotion if you gather my meaning. I like the version sung by Belle better.
