your synth is out of tune. that 1st note you played was an E flat, but you pressed a white key. in fact, it appears that most, if not all of your flats are on white keys.
indeed you had to realy put forth an effort back then to make electronic music. in the far past they had 'programmers' just to interpret a muscians idea of a desired sound into an actual sound

Elton John used a Moog on his second album. Listen to the tune "The Cage" which features a moog solo, played by Diana Lewis. On later Elton albums, from 71-76 he used an ARP Synthesizer
The good news is that you can get the Moog for real at ikmultimedia dot com for only 299$ or other top synths from native-instruments dot com for about the same :)
