Wonderful video! I always thought Norma Shearer was not a very good actress or the role of Marie Antoinette nor for that matter Kirsten Dunst or Joely Richardson, in fact compared to the 2 other actresses, I have to say that Joley Richardson looks NOTHING like Marie Antoinette! I would love to see a great movie where she is played by possibly a German actress or maybe even a French actress. Marie Antoinette was not a beautiful woman, maybe pretty or handsome but never beautiful!

That witch Marie Antoinette is always portrayed to be an innocent victim! I liked this movie because it showed a sympathetic light to the poor Comtesse! I say that while Marie Antoinette may not have said let them eat cake, she deserved the afte that she got! Her arrogance is what did her in the end! Her own daughter Madame Royale was just as arrogant as she was!

They made, Valois, that thieving whore look like an innocent in this movie!! That bitch was a liar and a con woman who, because of her stupidity, caused lies to be spread about Marie Antoinette. She was just a common street walker who should have been strung up by the neck!!

Wonderful ! This almost makes me cry thinking that this all really did happen to her when she did not mean to do anything wrong but that she was only there to save an alliance with Austria & France , Its really sad once you think about it. :[
