If you listen to this closely you'll probably discover how it is kind of a tribute to "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. The main riff (especially with the album version effect, which is totally BJ's trademark sound), and the first couple of notes of both the verses and the chorus, the key change at around 2:50, parts of the guitar solo all resemble "Livin...". Very well played, guys! Honestly, I really like it and it truly is an amazing song, besides being one of the better tributes to the 80's!
