  • what the hell that doesn't even tell you how to clean your chicken coop

  • Take the heavy plastic that you can get from the builders depot that is used under the floating floor. Cut strips to fit the floor, In one week, take it out and shake off the chicken poop into your garden spot. There will not be much left to clean in the coop, and it does not take as long to clean and is not as unpleasant. Chicken poop is the best organic fertilizer and lasts one year.

  • lol

  • Hehe, those boys are too "chicken" to get their hands dirty! That girl has a strong work ethic in contrast to them.

  • Super cute! My kids here in Laguna Beach have all their friends come by to grab eggs. And.... we aren't the only ones with chickens here by the beach. It is so much fun i kick myself for not raising them a long time ago! Cheers :-)

  • It's so easy...to just scoop......really! And, it's so wonderful for your garden. We try to clean once a week - to keep the girls fresh. Our grandsons were just being "boys" - joshing with each other and being silly.

    Hope that helps....blessings...lylah

  • ok? lol

  • Can you scoop up the poop or do you have to like pinch it up? Can you use it as fertilizer? Asking cause I want to keep a few chickens some day.

  • Hi Sky,,,,sorry i didn't respond earlier....we keep all that poop along with the bedding and it goes into our compost pile - which eventually goes into our raised garden beds.

It's a really nice cycle of life.

  • Okay, but can you scoop it up or is it harder to clean than that?
