It can be fun if you use gameshark to give yourself a challenge. Like one time, I used cheats to get myself a team of eevee evolutions and used that to play through the game. Another time I played through the game with only bug types, only starters, only normal types. The list goes on and on.

Starter pokémons and all Eve's evolutions have outstanding stats; having them as your party would definitely be a different and more amusing experience, but not a higher challenge than the unhacked game itself.

Actually, you'd be surprised at how challenging it was to use only starters With starters you only have three types to choose from and the ones with secondary types usually have another weakness to boot. Using 6 starters was harder than 6 normal types. It was all very unexpected, using 6 dragon types was harder than using 6 normal types. Also, there are rules to my game and one of them is no ubers. The only easy one so far was all normal types.

Yea, that's if you trade it over from a game you just cheated on. There are many rumors how to get mew, fact is. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET HIM. Mew was only created in green and it's a Japanese version. You can also catch him in red, blue and yellow, but it's all glitch and it's a legit glitch. Other wise, the newer games, there is no way unless you cheat for him.

You can have Mew in current games if you met the requirements in My Pokemon Ranch or if you were lucky and got him through special events from Toys R Us a couple of years ago. You are right that he is not available in game without cheating, but he's not 100% forbidden from new generation games. So there are ways to get Mew without cheatibng! It just takes some work. But it is worth it. I have two! One from the event and one from MPR! NO CHEATS USED!

He probably used the Pokemon Modifier for gameshark, the one where you throw away master balls and he can find Mew anywhere and if you want it too look more legit, you rather use Pokesav and then put Mew in your party and make him as an egg, that way, he when he hatches, you'll get his data in your Pokedex and you'll look like you just did an event.

Yup, that's the only legit way, but there's one huge problem,

that event ended way back in 2008.

There's no legit way after that, and to get mew during the event, you go to this island, then you see mew, but he runs into the grasses, you have to find him and corner him, but he keeps moving every time you move too, when you see the grass a different color in front of you, click on it, it'll be mew. Then you battle him.

if u dont know how to hack, u have to have a friend trade u a pkmn that knows cut and u must progress through the game until u have surf. after u get surf, THEN go to the ss anne.(if u already did then ur fucked) show the sailor ur ticket then go in, use surf at the water and you'll c a truck. use strength on it, push it, and mew will be there. it will be lv.30
